I wish I could put Roytjbrandon, with Jackrasho running a close second, but I guess I can only pick one.

I wonder if George Hill will play tonite?

It's amazing that 7 out of 7 are most excited about Roy, particularly when we have acquired an excellent, experienced PG in TJ Ford.

I would rank them as follows:

Roy
TJ
Brandon

But man, I am excited about Brandon too. They are each very good in their own way...

Picked B.Rush just 'cause I knew the poll would be heavy with Hibberts.

That's silly and defeats the purpose of a poll. fyi ;)

Good we have the Pacers feed.

You have to go through NBA.com.

I like to pull up ESPNs gamecast too, it shows live updates to the boxscore.

No TV feed that I know of.

If anyone has a stream, please let me know. I'm debating whether I should just give up on the Pacers on the evening and concentrate on BC/VT or if I should look around for an okay site.

FYI, the game between the Raptors and Clippers at half time the twin towers are:

JO.... 5-9.... 4-4.... 5 rebs.... 3 blocks... 14 pts

Bosh.... 5-9.... 6-6.... 4 rebs... 16 pts

Be interesting to see how they finish the game and if they can continue playing this way in the future.

Need to put Jack in to cool off T Parker, he's dominating.

Boyle just said TJ is a good defender, but Parker is playing him like a fiddle.

Will be interesting to see if Jack can handle Parker better than Ford, ha that's what Slick just said and Jack came in, Parker came out, maybe later.

Marquis has 9 pts in 8 minutes. He's on pace for 54 points.

Parker on pace for 72 pts and 18 assists.

Anyone tired of my stunning stats?

I'm on pace for 36 posts on this thread during the game, which might be 30 more than the rest of the posters combined.

Unfortunately, it isn't a given night,

Not yet half way throught the 2nd quarter and Murphy has 9 pts 4 rebs 2 assists, that makes me feel pretty good about him coming back. Still yet to see Murphleavy yet, though.

Speed

Man, this concerns me, I wish I could see this, T Parker is completely dominating TJ.

half way throught the 2nd quarter

T Parker

14 pts, 5 assists, 1 reb in 13 mins

TJ Ford

0 pts, 3 assists, 0 rebs in 9 mins

Moreso, it sounds like Parker is just doing whatever he wants.

Hibbert and Bonner jawing!!! Foul on Bonner.

I wonder if Bonner gave him a cheap shot.

Also, I wonder if Hibbert will destroy a Dry Erase board and threaten to eat Bonners children?

Nope, nothing came of it.

I guess that settles it. Hibbert is a better version of Harrison.

And Croshere is getting twice as much PT as McBob because...

Croshere was on the Pacers for what, a decade almost? We really don't know what we're getting with him?

El Pacero
10-18-2008, 10:38 PM
Good point dcpacersfan, but I think they've already decided to keep McRoberts. He's on the web banner of the pacers.com home page at least...

Speed
10-18-2008, 10:39 PM
this was a bad game, Marquis played really well hitting 3s, Murphy had a nice showing, Granger is ready but basically they got beat by Tony Parker and a bunch of role players.

TJ got worked by Parker.

The Rooks show that inconsistency you're gonna have to expect. B Rush pulled a Shawne Williams and got double digits in semi garbage time.

Not alot to like about this one. Except Marquis did show range.

Speed
10-18-2008, 10:42 PM
I think they have 3 games left, two more to get Murphy and Dunleavy up to speed and I would hope that takes Croshere out of the rotation unless needed for injury.

The last game I think you'd play your regulars lightly.

Maceo hasn't played, Davis is gone. I think that does it as far as cuts.

I guess Austin played well too. Probably his best game of the preseason, easily.

5 pts, 8 boards, 4 assists, and a block in 17 mins.

I can't remember Austin ever getting 4 assists, maybe I just never noticed.

Quis

Horrible game. We got beat by a group of guys clinging to NBA careers. Hibbert laid an egg.

kester99
10-18-2008, 11:07 PM
I think we'll see Austin in the rotation fairly regularly, behind Murphy and Foster at PF. McRoberts as a 4th option.

Rookies are still rookies. Expect large eggs to appear now and again.

There are usually 8, and that's how many the Pacers will play. They have two left, on the 21st @ New Orleans & 23rd @ Dallas.
