http://blogs.indystar.com/pacersinsider//archives/mugs/mwells.jpg You won't be seeing Mike Dunleavy and Troy Murphy in Wednesday's preseason opener against New Orleans. Coach Jim O'Brien said today that the two will sit out the game with injuries. Dunleavy's dealing with tendonitis in his right knee and Murphy has an Achilles problem. Travis Diener (foot) will also miss the game.

There hasn't been any kind of announcement on who'll start in Dunleavy and Murphy's place, but it wouldn't be surprising if Marquis Daniels and Jeff Foster or Austin Croshere are in the starting lineup.

Here's a starting lineup I wouldn't mind seeing against the Hornets.
PG: Ford
SG: Daniels
SF: Granger
PF: Foster or Croshere
C: Nesterovic

Tinsley update - Monday evening

The Pacers and Nuggets are still talking about a possible deal with Jamaal TInsley. There's been a snag as the Nuggets apparently want some extra money thrown in for Tinsley.

It'll be interesting to see who starts. I'd put money on Daniels at SG. PF is more of a crapshoot. Really anybody over 6'8" not named Nesterovic or Hibbert could reasonably start.

I hope Shawne Williams get the start. Let see what he can do. I also want Mcroberts and Mace to get a lot of minutes b/c they might be playing for the final spot on the roster.
