In case any of you have a few million that's burning a hole in your pocket, JO just put his Carmel estate on the market for 4.5 million. For that, you get amost 12,000 sq ft on 3 acres, 6 bedrooms, a 6 car garage, a double gated community, basketball court (with Jermaine O'Neal inscribed), a pool with cabana and you can also claim Reggie Wayne and Dwight Freeney of the Colts as neighbors.

To see the listing and pictures of the house, follow the link:

And in case you're still interested, Reggie's house on Geist is still available for a mere 7.5 million.

Jump on it Geezer. Sounds befitting of a man of your riches being in the real estate market and all......

I will say this also.....The man has insanely better taste than the Jonathan Bender House we saw. JO"s house is very classy. I like it.

So if I read this correctly... I take it you blame JO for the interior color schemes?

Sad to see him selling that home. He put a lot of work into it and added on a lot of the home.

The wording may be a little fruity but I'm comfortable with it.

Should Jack be worried?

I don't think so. Because remember, he still has dominating and all-starring to do.

He just blew your mind, didn't he.
But you have to admit that JO's place is hella better than what Bender had done.

If you just intentionally used Yay Area slang for the purpose of mockery then you, ma'am, have garnered my respect for the first time.

Are there people out there who didn't like Bender's purple carpet? Haha

If I remember correctly, Bender ended up pulling his house off the market and had the whole thing repainted and it looked like a completely different house inside, which he has since sold.

I thought WaMu was the name of his foreign chef.

...basketball court (with Jermaine O'Neal inscribed)....

What? Like he needed to be reminded of who he is?

Does this smack of a huge ego to anyone else?

I didn't want to start a new thread and this is the only active JO thread. I thought this was kind of interesting.

O'Neal Flunks Mitchell's Free-Throw Drill (http://realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/54700/20081004/oneal_flunks_mitchells_free_throw_drill/)

New Raptors big man Jermaine O'Neal recently flunked coach Sam Mitchell's sprint-related free-throw drill.

Mitchell placed O'Neal on the free-throw line. He would shoot three free throws, and for each one he missed, his teammates would run an end-to-end sprint.

"That's some pressure, man," Chris Bosh would say later. "You're thinking, 'I don't want to mess up.' Nobody wants to mess up in front of everybody. You want to concentrate. You're on the spot and there's more than just your teammates watching."
O'Neal promptly missed all three of his attempts.

"Hey, he's tired. He's trying to get his legs back. That's why I put him up there (first) ... not to embarrass him," said Mitchell. "But guys got pride. I promise you, if we ever do the drill again – and we don't do it every day, I kind of hold it in reserve – but I promise you, next time, he won't miss three."

-----

Side note, I did this once with a shy girl when coaching 6th grade girls (my daughters team). 3 chances to make one and they didn't have to run. She hit the very first Free Throw.
