Great game by our boys tonight! It's great that we really don't get rattled when we seem to get down.

Great halftime adjustments by Carlisle coming out of the locker room to get us back into it.

And only 10 points for New Jersey in the fourth quarter?! I love it!

So uh, Byron, who's the best team in the east??

Maybe you didn't realize that they get the whole game to state their case? ;)

You see, Shade rips them prematurely and we win. Pacers or Colts, same result. :)

One thing about tonight's game is that we played maybe 18-20 minutes of good basketball and pretty much sucked at one end of the floor or the other the rest of the time.

Transition defense was about as bad as I've seen it since the Bucks game. And the Nets are a poor rebounding team yet our failure to block out allowed too many easy rebounds. And as soon as we take Reggie out of the game in Q1 at about the 5:00 minute mark, the Nets go into a zone.... just like most of our opponents do.

Yet I still go back to that one item. Under 20 minutes of good basketball and we still managed to stay in the game and eventually win against the Nets.

I think there is a good reason the Nets are struggling a little this season. With a few personnel changes and a gamble on Mourning, they now find themselves a weaker team than last season. They simply aren't as good as last year.

Their fans can say "the East winner will have to go through Jersey" all they want. I just don't believe it's true this season. Right now it's a two horse race. Possibly three if the Hornets get things turned back around.
