View Full Version : Freddie, J Richardson, Chris Anderson (?), and maybe LeBron

Real GM is reporting that the slam dunk contest is these 3 and an unknown 4th, presumably they want LeBron to change his mind and compete.
Chis Anderson seems an odd choice. A 6'10" guy ought to be able to sky, so I'd favor the little guys.

I'd love to see LeBron in it, but last I had heard he didn't want to do it.

Chris Anderson does sky, but he still has no chance unless he shows something amazing. It's easier for a guy like Freddie, becuase his dunks look better as he's so much smaller than an Anderson, or even a Richardson. It would do the NBA so much good if Lebron joined in the contest. It would create a stir in the contest, and would give Richardson somebody else to compete with.
Two guys I want to see in it if Lebron doesn't join; Ronald Dupree of the Bulls, and man I'm trying to remember the guys name on the Bucks, not Mason, ah... Marcus Haislip. Mason could also be put in as well.

chris andersen has amazing hops, i guess it would be much like watching bender dunk.
it's kinda weird, to think of height as a disadvantage in a dunking contest :unimpressed:
maybe they should have different height baskets as an equal opportunity measure

Mason has been pretty impressive. I have no problem with him being in again if LeBron says no.

I'm a big fan of Andersen's & the guy can get up there but I doubt he will have the "show" to complete.
They should get Mello & James to go at it.
And another thing.........
Just 4 players!
Should be at least 8 & I would prefer 12, with the top 4 advancing.
It's not like there is a time restraint on this thing.
