This is a thread in the INDYSTAR Pacers forum. Tell me Mr. Dillon isn't Elgin56, right down to that avatar. I have no doubt, especially when he tries to slap you in the face with his military service to ward off disagreement.

And it matters because?

I don't see why people feel the constant need to poke and prod Elgin or Mr Dillon (same person or not).

Let sleeping dogs lie... or something like that...

Yeah, you're probably right. Although I will say the purpose of that thread started by Mr. Dillon was to discourage people from joining PacersDigest, so it really isn't a sleeping dog at all. Feel free to close this. No need to churn ill will.

Either it's Elgin or he hangs out with the most immature group of senior citizens I've ever encountered.

I didn't follow the link so I didn't know it was related to PD. My mistake. I still don't understand why people alway wanted to tangle with Elgin when it was clear Elgin wasn't interested in having his opinion changed on a subject. I assumed that was what was at the other end of the link.

Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go.

The Star thread is old news.

Mr. Dillion has been banned so many times under numerous monikers over the years at the Star. When the Star changed to the Pluck system, they have allowed previously banned posters back on the board. Thus Mr. Dillion. I figured Mr. Dillion had been banned over here at PD, and was looking for some sympathy. Over the years numerous banned or perceived persecuted PD posters have started threads at the Star crying their tale of woe. The funny part is NO ONE cared at the Star other than them. The thread creators thought the Star posters would really care and side with them. Seldom did this ever happen due to the fact most reg Star posters didn't care what went on over at PD due to their allegiance to the Star board.

I don't believe I've ever seen a vet brag about getting a Purple Heart before, especially in reference to being decorated. Oh well, to each his own.

Again, Mr. Dillion is nothing more than stale news of nothingess.

I still sort of think that MrDillion/Elgin56 is some 15 year old kid that likes to screw around with people's minds. Either that or he stepped into a some sort of time lapse in the middle of the jungle in Nam and his brain was replaced with that of a 15 year old girl's.

I've also never heard a veteran pull the purple heart card. And he calls others "bitter"?

Well, he did use the POS shorthand which was an Elgin favorite, but I didn't have a problem with the guy so I'm neutral on this whole mess.

I'm more concerned about Dancing Harry stealing the StankoLover schtick.

It's a classic in every sense of the word.

As for the RATS thread, pretty much every person who gets banned from PD goes over there to lay down their (usually completely inaccurate) sob story, gets mostly ripped for it, and then goes away. It's like clockwork.

I just want to give another update...

I felt obligated to clear the truth on the new IS board about Elgin.

MR.DILLON (Elgin) had to start it all again. He is about to get banned over there, too.

Your heart's in the right place, but next time (there always is), please just don't get involved. I'd rather let them sink their own ship and be done with it. If anyone's going to say anything, it should be me and at this point in time I have no plans to say anything.

You're right, but I don't need crap like that going on. It's almost taken care of.

In all, I am not really happy with the new forum format over there, I don't think I'll last more than a day there without getting frustrated with Pluck.

I just caught up reading what's been posted. (Much love, Big Smooth aka GOBIGRED :flirt: ) It may seem taken care of now, but people like this always have to have the last word until the mean old admin takes that privilege away. I expect him to argue with you. It's likely going to be your call to stop it.

For someone with as much life experience as he claims, Elgin and his little buddies (whomever they may be) are incredibly petty and immature. It's bizarre, really.

We should invite him back to join this discourse... Along with Sassan, Jerm, and Kofi. :D

That would liven up the offseason...

Another thing -- if MRDILLON is legitimately long-time friends with Elgin and served beside him in war, shouldn't they have the perspective to avoid ridiculously petty internet banter?

Those two guys are messed up... Or maybe it really is Elgin, which speaks volumes about his mental state...

I just caught up reading that thread. Duke, you said before you were done, but you've since kept going. Please just stop for good. At this point you're just playing this loser's pathetic game, and to continue from here on is only going to make yourself and this site look worse. This guy already looks as ridiculous as possible and has hit rock bottom. You can only make yourself and by association, this site, look worse at this point.

Either this guy is as sad as Sassan, or it is yet again Sassan. Either way, this continuous act is pathetic, sick, obnoxious, and sad. I can only wish for him a speedy rush to boredom or a better life so this can all die a lonely death. I'm beyond sick of it and tired of coddling it. I hope everyone else feels the same.
