I personally hope the BB sex tape isn't true while it would be a great irony I don't think America deserves to be subjected to that....

There's A Bill Belichick Sex Tape? Merciful Jesus, Anoint My Eyes With Clorox
Like opening the ancient, creaky attic door in a horror movie, some moves are so obviously wrong-headed that you just want to scream. Tom Casale, a former writer for Patriots Football Weekly, has just made one of those moves. Writing under the name Tommy Rider (red flag right there), he penned a farewell to the team following his last day on the beat, where he dished some "gossip" that included the contention that there's a Bill Belichick sex tape floating around. Before you ask your cat to claw out your eyes, be informed that Casale strikes me as several different kinds of crazy. OK, let's proceed.

From Casale's personal site on Pregame.com, a gambling site where he's now employed:

Hold on for this one: I heard from someone who is close to the case that there is a sex tape of Bill Belichick banging the married woman he had an affair with. I **** you not. The husband who is suing that woman for being unfaithful to him has a tape of his wife and Belichick screwing while the two of them were still married. Belichick is a very powerful man so I imagine he's doing everything in his power to squash this from getting out but it could only be a matter of time. A part of me doesn't want to see it but another part of me can't help but be intrigued.

Here's my theory: Matt Walsh sent Arlen Specter the sex tape by mistake, and somewhere a housewife is watching a St. Louis Rams practice walkthrough.

But Casale isn't through. Other excerpts:

Tedy Bruschi is just an unlikable person in general and I think his teammates know what's what and get sick of his act. He created an image that he presents to the public but his teammates know better.

A list of ******** would be Bruschi, Dillon, Willie McGinest, Pierre Woods, Mike Vrabel, Dan Koppen and Stephen Gostkowski. Yes, the kicker. Bruschi is by far the biggest and that seems to be a universal opinion. Sorry but it's true.

Corey Dillon is about the most miserable piece of **** you would ever want to encounter. There is no doubt in my mind that he will end up in jail at some point. You don't have to be a good guy to be a star in the NFL and no one is a better example of that than Dillon.

Wow. Even Scott McClellan is shaking his head sadly. But as always, it's the message board that provides the greatest entertainment here.

This is, indeed, Tom Casale. I worked with him for 2 years and he was universally disliked around the office. We all wondered from the very start what Fred saw in him and why he was given such a long rope after his indiscretions online. The patsfans ordeal was surreal. He used multiple aliases to, among other things, denigrate his colleagues that he worked closest with. Btw, I have alot more bullets in the gun. I haven't even mentioned the events surrounding his dismissal. It's very embarrassing. You can probably imagine when you consider how much they put up with him prior to firing him. posted by PFW Insider on 07/30/2008 1:10 PM

I really like all the NE bashing this article is allowing.

There is nothing "pure" or sacred about this Patriots team.

From what I gathered, there is a lot of negative PR going in and out of that franchise. I hope it proves distracting, and they faulter.

No. This was actually linked on SI.com's webpage under their hotclicks section.

EDIT: this is the original story link: http://pregame.com/forums/blogs/tommy-rider/archive/2008/07/29/my-last-day-as-a-new-england-patriot.aspx?gn=376875&CommentPosted=true

He gives his name, dunno if it's real or not, but supposedly he wrote this because it was his last day on the job working for the Pats.

This tape with Belicheck is 50/50
It is a lot easier to record this stuff now b/c cameras are smaller
He alleged had an affair with a married women. Did her then husband hire a private investigator? I do not know!

From the article...

Here's my theory: Matt Walsh sent Arlen Specter the sex tape by mistake, and somewhere a housewife is watching a St. Louis Rams practice walkthrough.

Now that's funny!

Seriously? Belichick sex tape? That's gotta be bogus. Funny story to read, but it's got to be made up.

All this better be true or this guy is gonna be sued for libel.

It wouldn't hold up. He says he heard there was a sex tape. He would have to know there wasn't one, for a fact, and still print the story to be guilty of libel.

At best he's guilty of gossiping.

It's as likely to be true as some other deadspin articles, like this one below

(I'm saying that half the stuff they print is stupid BS)

deadspin classic from a couple of years back:

Peyton Manning Going All Brokeback Mountain On Us?

OK, now this be should be filed under "Complete Random Rumor From Gossip Newsletter That Knows Nothing About American Sports," but the pure notion of it is so hysterical that we can't help but bring it to your attention.

British gossip wag site Pop***** included the following line, about the "fraud" provision in actress Renee Zellweger and country crooner Kenny Chesney's divorce papers, in today's newsletter update:

Strangest Renee-Kenny rumour coming out of the States. The marriage fraud? His "friendship"with Indianapolis Colts quarterback Peyton Manning.

http://www.deadspin.com/sports/peytonandkennychesney.jpg
Uh ... what? (That's the two of them together in the picture, by the way, at a concert.) The mental picture of this ... we don't even know where to start. A couple of gay cowboys, forced to hide their love because of societal pressures; someone oughta make a movie about that. Manning, we feel obliged to point out, has been married for four years. But that's all just part of the ruse

The validity is still in question, but it's not like the onion who writes their own trash.

I can't imagine him enjoying sex with anyone. He'd have already seen all your moves on night vision recordings.

About 5 years ago when I still lived in Massachusetts I volunteered to help out one Saturday in a local special Olympics event.

There were a number of sports-related celebrities there, along with lots of businessmen. Mostly they were honored for supporting the Special Olympics (Bob Cousy from the Celtics, somebody I don't know from the Bruins, Stacy Lucchino-the wife of Red Sox president Larry Lucchino).

The star celebrity was Tedy Bruschi, who passed out #54 jersies to the kids. Nobody knew he was coming, that I heard. I guess other players like Flutie had been there in the past, though, but more often it was a coach, front office guy, etc.

I didn't talk to him (he was there with the kids until they all got a jersey) but that event gave me the impression that the sports person I ever saw who was LEAST LIKELY to be an a-hole is Tedy Bruschi.

Yeah and if he had never "heard" that there was a sex tape then he would be guilty of libel.
