Anyone still care for this now that Lance isn't riding anymore? Think it will be a very interesting year and we could get a surprising winner. In the end, Evans or Valverde seem to be the best guesses.

But I'm rooting for Stijn Devolder...

I like the Tour but no longer have VS. (the channel that shows the Tour in the US) so I haven't been following it.

Its funny, once Lance left, they stopped showing it on the major national networks in the US. Now its on the "Outdoor Channel".

I used to enjoy watching it a bit. Now I have to remember when and where its on.

Well it was on OLN for at least the last four tours Lance won. OLN is Vs. now.

Floyd Landis ruined it for me. To get caught cheating and then blatantly lie again and again about it...

He is actually my TA sophomore year's cousin. Weird.

First real mountains today. The favorites probably won't be attacking though. Btw, Schumacher was a big surprise for me. No idea he was that good at time trials.

If anyone's looking for live streaming with English spoken commentary, try here: http://www.cyclingfans.com/. If you can't find a working broadcast, here's a link (http://www3.vrtnieuws.net/sport_master/interactief/tour2008/live/index.html) to the Belgian. It will be good for your Dutch...:-)

I watched some of it last night. The announcers they had were boring as all get out.

And there was no real excitement that I saw.
