This is a great article about Sonny Vaccarro, the guy who pretty much created NCAA shoe deals and Summer camps and convinced Nike to dive into basketball shoes.

After spending his life on the inside making millions and guiding players into the limelight, he's now trying to expose the NCAA for its corruption

pretty interesting article. it's true that the ncaa is run like a feeder league of the nba.

on a somewhat related note, there's at least one high school star considering the european route:

I'm a long time subscriber and was surprised to see this article in what is normally a Beltway political mag. I agree with most of what Sonny V. has to say, but unfortunately he's the wrong messenger.
