^ haha, photobucket isn't a good source for k-rush pictures.

my mom says they don't look nothin a like.
I can see some similarities though.
This is kinda offtopic, but I just wanted to see what everyone else thinks.
I've never started a thread before, so I figured I'd start with this. :)

what do ya'll think?
I think they look a little alike, IMHO.

Dunno I know he lost a season at KU to injury but I'm not sure if that is it or not.

*edit* no that isn't it I looked it up and he missed his season due to a blown knee that he got in a pickup game.

Wasn't that the ACL? Or was that another time?

*edit* Just saw your edit. I guess it was before KU then. Maybe in his childhood?

Ekk, I'd hate to know what had happened to get a big scar like that.

Probably the same one as the Van Gundy's.

That is one persuasive milkman.

Hopefully the milk man's last name was Jordan.

How much bigger is Brandon? Any idea if he's going to be better than Kareem?

He's much better than Kareem has ever been right now. It isn't even close.

Excellent. The fact he's the leading scorer on a team cutting down the net has to mean something.

Rush is 21 years old and stands 6 feet 6 inches, with a sleek physique and a movie-star face. His arms are heavily tattooed, and his left arm is slightly crooked, with a long and jagged scar. He hurt it while doing a back-flip in grade school.

“The bone popped right out,” he said. “I could see it. I touched it. Took me about a year to recover from it.”

Only when Brandon looks to the right or the left.

I used to tell my brother he was adopted all the time when we were younger.

Good find! I figured his bone had to have popped out for his elbow to look the way it does. Ouch.

They look a little a like.. but I think Brandon looks a lot like Young Jeezy or Jay Z

Kareem's going to wish he looked in the mirror and saw Brandon instead of himself... His younger, rookie brother is already a decidedly better player and will be ahead of him on the depth chart (if Kareem is retained) from day one.

That ***** is embarassing.

No, that's what older brothers are for.

JaRon thought the same thing about Kareem when Kareem was on the Lakers...

JaRon was also an idiot.

He could've made it in the L (with some hard work), but is yet another cautionary tale of bad decisions and overall immaturity.

Funny, I always thought they looked absolutely nothing alike what so ever. Kareem looks like someone you'd see on the cover of GQ whereas Brandon looks like the kind of guy you'd see walking out of Vick's Liquor Store at 3 in the morning.

Excellent. The fact he's the leading scorer on a team cutting down the net has to mean something.
One thing with Hollinger's data system that suggested he wouldn't become much, Kansas more than any team I saw showed great discipline for sharing the ball and involving the entire team. At times they would work one guy, I think Arthur got posted to death against Memphis IIRC because it was working (in one of those late games it happened). But the norm was different play, different guy.

That's why I like Chalmers, Rush and Arthur. They have the skills and played in a really good team system that let them think for themselves but work as a unit. They didn't "go to spot X" like robots, they just kept in mind that other guys could help them get the job done.

So the result was numbers that look limited...oh, and the nets getting cut down. ;)

When I first started looking at Rush I didn't know who he was or that he was related. Seriously. I only looked at KS because of their ranking. None of those guys was top 15 projected to start the year. This kid stood out but NOTHING in his game reminded me of KRush. He's sorta got a similar stroke, but slower and not lefty.

I agree he's also already better. Classic all-around player type. No one point wows you but as a package it's really nice.
