After Shaq just ruined Phoenix's brewing franchise... I think it is quite comical.

Shaq started rapping about Kobe in a club... He then said "Please don't make anything out of nothing." - Talking about the video. He also mentioned Kareem and Ewing. lol

Shaq is the epitome of an immature egomaniac. He badly needs a reality check.

Crowd wasn't cheering after he mentioned Ewing... then you can also hear someone say "what?" when he mentioned Kareem.

Wow, the NBA is loving it's media exposure lately.

Interesting to see the retribution from this tommorow.

I found it funny, yet shameless for piling it on Kobe.

Call Shaq what you will, but this guy has been entertainment for a long time. Come on, that was funny.

The whole sweet nothings bit with the TV reporter, the Big Aristotle, it's all gold.

It dragged on, but it doesn't bother me. I like Shaq. Sometimes there's just guys out there that get a pass. And Shaq is one of those guys. He's bad-mouthed his former coaches and teammates, thrown athletic trainers under the bus, and let himself get out of shape, but I still like him.

I thought it was funny too to some degree... I know he was kidding because he wouldn't go out and say that and actually mean it... But you know Kobe will use this as motivation knowing him.

Right now he's focused on Team USA and get that gold.

His lardness is certainly B-I-G, but it sure isn't going to win him any more championships. He also needs to find a new day job because this gig will only work with pre-teens...and you can stick a fork in his NBA career at this point. I suppose he has options, but he better stop making an idiot of himself or those will close down as well.

Sadly, that probably goes for a large number of NBA multi-millionaire playboys who never worked a day in their life, have a dream "job", have babes at every stop and can buy nearly anything they want and travel anywhere they want. To some extent, I can understand it because they live in a different reality, but Shaq is over 35 years old now and should have advanced at least into his late 20's from a maturity standpoint.

I get your point, but not sure I'm totally comfortable w/ downplaying how hard these guys have to work to get where they're at, calling their job a "job" and so on. It's not like they came out of the womb posting triple-doubles.

Okay...

What was the point of Shaq's rap? To show-up Kobe and remind him that he hasn't won another championship since Shaq left? Shaq hasn't faired much better w/o Kobe. Sure, he won one Finals championship w/o Kobe but that's it. Only one and I suppose that gives him bragging rights, but this was a very immature act on Shaq's part. His self-imposed Kobe bashing has spilled over into being ridiculous!

Which is why the big dope will get away with this scot free. Never mind that he used the N-word for an active cop he can't do that in a public setting and expect to be taken seriously. That's why they took his badge.

Look he hates Kobe fine dandy but don't act as if this was a joke clearly it wasn't otherwise why mention Kobe as the reason you are getting a divorce. When its really your damn fault.

And worst of all, its freaking Shaq. He is in the top 3 of my least favorite NBA players. Oh happy day when he finally retires..he's washed up as anything.

Any decent big man could have won the title with Wade that year. Wade was playing MVP basketball and was getting superstar calls...I'm sure if JO was in Miami he could have won with him. Shaq needs a Kobe just as much as Kobe needs a Shaq.

LOL Shaq was the one that was dissing... As I thought it was a pretty funny freestyle... It's just that I thought it was a lot funnier that he got his badge taken. Which doesn't necessarily mean I'm hating.

If we had a guy who's know for doing jokes and being such a comedian without having a criminal background, I'd have no probem with it.

I thought his rap was horrible to begin with. I would have booed him.

ESPN highlited his posse member on stage last night, and the guy was rapping along with him, knowing the words before Shaq said them. It wasn't a freestyle to begin with, it's obviously something they practiced which makes it an even worse showing IMHO.

Shaq is an awful, awful rapper.

Plus it was a freestyle at a party and he was asked on the spot to freestyle.....Some kid with a video camera or a cell phone recorded...Shaq was probably drunk, lol....So who cares? Its NOT that serious.....
