The Bobcats also announced that NBA player LaSalle Thompson was hired as strength and conditioning coach and Steve Stricker is the team's new athletic trainer.

Thompson played for Brown in Indiana, while Stricker was the former trainer in Washington when Bobcats part-owner Michael Jordan (http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/players/profile?statsId=175) worked there.

What do you think Tank Thompson could make of David Harrison?

I wonder what his qualifications are.

You're supposed to be certified. There are two major organizations that most people go after, but there are internet ones that aren't worth the paper they're printed on.

It's funny to me that he gets hired for this position when least I saw him at Conseco (within the last 12 months) he looked very out of shape.

Tyson's trainer Cus D'Amato was an old man when Tyson was in his prime. You don't have to be in shape to train someone -- you just have to know how to train someone.

That may be but who remembers Tank and who remembers Mr, Brillo?
