Can anyone tell me what section these seats are in and are they good seats? It seems like a good price. I might be able to talk the wife into two or maybe four tickets.

I got that email too and thought to myself....$249 for season tickets?

It costs me that much just to get 2 lower bowl games to a single Warriors/Pacers game.

I have to admit...that's a good price for season tickets...even if it's in the nosebleed section.

It will probably be the same corner that the "Pepsi Big Slam Corner" was last year. If you're looking at center court with the Pacer "P" right-side up, it's the corner down and to the left, overlooking the tunnel where the Pacemates hang out near.

Hicks, Thanks for the info.

Yeah, looks like it's at the very top of the map on the page above. In the nosebleeds, but still not a bad price, especially taking the 'extras' into consideration (I got the email too). One has to wonder... exactly what do they mean by 'Exclusive Pacemate Access' :chin:

Also unless my math is wrong, the general public price (when it becomes available) will be about $280 for the same section.

I really hope it's the same corner. I had the Pepsi Slam season tix this season and I loved them. I got to sit a fews rows off the floor a few times, but other than that I was up in that corner for every game. Another plus is that you get to build a relationship with the other ticket holders in your area. It was like a little "mini family" by the time the season was over.

Keep in mind that even the $299 that the Pepsi deal used this season is one THIRD of the normal cost of that section. At least in the first row. I forget if/when the price changes as you move up.

Well this seems like something we will do. Thanks for the response. I really liked the two times we went this last season. Maybe we can write some of the games off if I invite some of our clients and have more reasons to go to more games. :happydanc

I don't think you'll be impressing everyone with balcony seats.

Yeah ... maybe so. I don't think I,m going for an impression as much as just sharing a cool a experience with someone I don't usually spend personal time with.

Take into mind that you get zero benefits.

i.e. No redemption nights, exclusive ticket prices for guests, "on demand" customer service, and inclusive special season ticket holder incentives like meet and greets.

I got the e-mail. Seems like a pretty good deal.

Too bad I'm still relatively poor. :kickcan:

Can you send me the link?

Too poor for $249 for the whole season? I figure since I buy 4 tickets a year for one game, I might as well spend a bit more to get a ticket to every game.

I got the e-mail. It is perfect for people who live close-by, but not for me.

I also like the service that my rep gives me. You don't get that with this package. NO SPECIAL INCENTIVES AT ALL!

I actually deleted the e-mail already. Sorry.

It should be public by now. Check out pacers.com and/or Ticketmaster.

They say no special incentives at all, but all you have to do is call your rep and they will still do anything you ask for the most part. I did this deal last year and anytime I needed an extra ticket or anything my rep was always there to help.

Actually last year I paid $300 for the season and then I got to do an on court "game" and won $200 of it back, so it was pretty nice.

Pacers Season Tickets for Only $249

http://www.nba.com/pacers/news/season_tickets_249.html

The Pacers, in partnership with Mountain Dew, announced Friday fans can purchase season tickets for $249 in the Mountain Dew Big Slam Corner.

From June 1 – June 30, season tickets in the Mountain Dew Big Slam Corner, sections 227-229, can be purchased for $249, and from July 1 – Aug. 31, the price will be $299. There are a limited number of tickets available in the Mountain Dew Big Slam Corner through Aug. 31.

The season ticket package in the Mountain Dew Big Slam Corner includes a ticket to each Pacers home game during the preseason and regular season in Conseco Fieldhouse, free Mountain Dew products and gear, in-game giveaways, monthly prizes and exclusive Pacemates access.

Fans can purchase tickets in the Mountain Dew Big Slam Corner by visiting Pacers.com starting June 1.

Fans purchasing season tickets for next season can take advantage of several additional packages and pricing. For example, more than 1,200 lower level end zone seats will be available for $55 per game as a season ticket ($71 for individual game purchase), a savings of $720.

For the second consecutive season, the Pacers will have more than 2,800 tickets available for $10 and more than 8,000 tickets available for $25 or less at each home game.

======

Two seasons ago, we had a few games of $4 and $8 tickets as a special deal for the 40th season. Now we can have a whole seasons' worth of home games for $6 a game. (Not very good seats, but everybody moves around once they get inside the fieldhouse.)

Friends, let's face it. Pacers games are an entertainment bargain!

Yeah, they will still help you, but you have to pay normal price for extra tickets in that section. They are normally $10.

You get assigned a rep by what section you are placed in. You will get a welcome packet in the coming months.

The seats I ended up getting today are normally $25 a piece. I think they drop to 10 bucks when you get higher up. Regardless, first 10 or so rows in the balc are still good seats, especially when theyre only 250 for the season.

looks like i'll be purchasing this package. i usually attend 5-15 games/yr courtside, but it doesn't look like i can use that connection any longer...one of the best ways to get fans back is to create a great atmosphere at every game. i will do all i can to help provide that...
