Peck gets my vote for this. I might have voted for ChicagoJ but he didn't post at all so "post more often" can't apply to him

I voted for Peck because that's what I do, hunt and peck.

I've gone with RC...don't really see him too much outside of the shoutbox...

Sadly, I watch more basketball these days than I ever did before. League pass is a glorious thing. Don't you love those nights where you sit down at 7pm and watch a bit of each game (particularly their conclusions) until 1:30am. And then you wake up the next morning having to write an exam, and say to yourself "maybe I have a problem..."

wow, somehow i got nominated for an award

tbird gets my vote, but there's many more from that list i'd like to see more often

I'm sorry, who are you again?

Too those who nominated me, I just want to let you know that two things kept me from posting as much as I'd have liked this year:

- a new job last fall
- an utter and complete disdain for this team

I still taped games, but ended up triple-clicking (Tivo-ese for fast forwarding at a ratio of a minute-a-second) through just to make sure no fights broke out. Therefore, I didn't have much to say about what was going on.

Now that the season's over, I've been posting a lot more. And I plan on getting League Pass next year, so I'll probably have more to say, it'll just be about Portland.

---

As for the voting, I'm torn between my two favorite posters, Rat and Jay@Home. Considering Jay has already given an excuse for not posting, I'll go with Rat. He's just lazy.

LouisvilleLip.

Obviously not based on merit but he's my boy.

What was Jay's excuse?

And, seriously, what's it gonna take for me to get a "Post Less Often" nomination?

Kegboy

What was Jay's excuse?

He doesn't want to be mistaken for a no-good dirty counter, so he's just stopped posting all together.

I voted for kegboy, because he's full of excuses

And I still think I can lure him to the Wiz bandwagon

Jay gets my vote for the new tie he had on this morning. At least it looked new from the bushes.

I think I nom'd both Wintermute and Goldfoot but can only vote for one. I'll go with W'mute for the great reference name (one of my fav books btw) and because Goldfoot I think posts plenty between here and Star. Plus all those bands keep him busy. ;)

I do like to see posts from both you guys whenever possible, you tend to reflect my own attitudes. Sorta like JayRedd, but without the guilt of agreeing with a potential felon (there's got to be something...and TWSS).

Luckily I got to hear from Peck in person a few times this year and I realize that as a mod he's sometimes in a tough spot. Really if you want to hear from him more often just push the rules a bit. ;)

I had to go with Alabama-Redneck. He slightly amuses me, but in a good way, and I get a great vibe from him. Plus the sunglasses smilie thing he puts in every guess that score thread has grown on me.

Long, long time ago I won that award every year, so TPTB just decided to drop it and save me the humiliation

There are just too many to pick from. I ended up going with Rasko because I think he's funny, but RC, PG, Peck, tbird, Putnam, Bball, MR (!), and a bunch of other I definitely wanted to vote for, too.

JayRedd

Louisville Lip and MR are also co-#1s on my list. What happened to you guys? Why hast thous forsaken us?

Hicks

I already know why, but I couldn't help voting for the real Jay (yes, that's right, I said it, FakeRedd). I didn't always agree with him, but he could make some great posts.

Dr. Goldfoot. There were a few that I would like to have chosen, but I can remember more than one time where Goldfoot has taken the words out of my mouth on certain topics.

There are so many here I enjoy reading and would like to read more often, and one major contender who posts so seldom lately that I had to look up the member-name...I'd never heard of him.

So...long story short...went with a personal favorite, Putnam, even though he isn't a hermit by any measure.

I'm going with MR on this one. We had to vote for JR as funniest for goodness sake!

How did Mark Boyle not get a nom? Or is he just ineligible for these awards or something?

I voted for rcarey cause I want him to win. Also he needs to count more often cause lately he has been slackin

But on a serious note he is too knowledgeable about the game and I think his insight is just out of this world. I love you man

Thanks for the kind words/ votes.

As most of you know, I've been uber-busy. And since I only watched about six games all season (all before Christmas), I figured I should try something new and keep my ignorance to myself.

Hey thanks for the consideration, it makes me feel all gooey inside. I voted for Since86. We usually disagree on every subject and that makes for good discussions plus it allows me to post more often.

Two at the same time! Congratulations!

Thank you to all that voted for me. I also wanted to tell all of you thank you for even participating on this board, and giving all of us crazy Pacer fans an outlet to discuss the game and team we love.

I personally voted for Peck for this award, as I love reading his odd thoughts, and other postings.

Again, thanks to all that voted.
