Big Ben's Defense makes up for his lack of Offensive Talents

It proves you don't need a Center who can put up alot of points to win ;)

Since he throws up bad shots, but is a top defensive player... the Pistons should trade him  :)

I'd take Ben on my team any day!

And then we'd have his offense under control since Carlisle is our coach!

damn it la pacer, i was gonna say pollard. but since you did first, i will definately concour on that. despite his limited p.t. this year, i have never seen a guy on the pacers who could miss SO many point blank shots - and still shoot blanks.

You don't have to look that far down our bench. How about Jeff Foster.

I was waiting for someone to mention Jeff.

Jeff's free throw shooting is better than Ben's

Actually, people critisize for shooting bad, but his shot is actually a really nice looking shot. Seriously. If you watch how he shoots, he has a very nice arc to the ball, and if he actually practiced shooting on a regular basis, he could be more consistant.

He actually does practice shooting on a regular basis. In fact he practices a lot, so say the coaches and his teamates. If you've ever seen him in warm-up and in practice he drains it from everywhere (and I'm not being a homer, if you can look this sort of thing up, do so and you will see). Its insane, he hits from everywhere, even threes, ALL THE TIME in warm-up and his free throws are pretty average (which is a whole lot better than in games).

He's just got a tremendous lack of confidence offensively during games or something. Its got to be a psychological thing because he's got the mechanics. Its just ridiculous.

Pretty harsh critisism from a guy shooting NEARLY %50 from the field for the series...... :unimpressed:

Dunks and layups, and he misses some of those.

Blame that on his DNA...according to Doc Rivers "Ben Wallace has small hands"...I wonder if that means he has a small............................. :unimpressed:

Oh, its true that he misses ... basically any shot you can take. As far as the hands references, I'll keep my mind off other peoples appendages.

About 50% of them

To answer the original question, no there is no worse offensive player in the league than ben wallace... Jeff Foster can hit layups and dunks

Jeff would be a Monster if he could get alittle 12-15 ft jumper on a consistant basis ;)
