It is with great pleasure that I want to introduce to the board our newest admins.

Roaming Gnome

Both are long standing and valued posters here on the board and I know both look forward to working with everyone here to make this one of the most dynamic sports related boards on the Net.

You can reach either of them via p.m. by clicking on thier names and selecting pm member.

So on behalf of our founder  Hicks and the other admins. please join us in welcoming them to thier new positions.

I had noticed that they had the admin title a few days ago but was wondering if I had missed an announcement. Clears that up. Congrats guys.

Bah humbug to that!

Now I suppose they will disappear like you did. You used to post all the time, now you are so busy being an administrator you are almost nonexistent as a poster.

So how does taking away our best posters make us better?

I'm told it's been a little embarrassing how many keyboards Uncle Buck was wearing out. They had to come up with something to slow him down.

Can I still vote for Unclebuck as "poster of the year" without seeming grovelly and obsequious?

I'm not sure being named an Admin is call for congratulations. Seems pretty thankless to me.

I get all the thanks I need every two weeks when I get the big fat admin paycheck. Should be getting my first check here in a few days

Remember UB,RG.... even NBA officials get one wrong every now and then. Actually they miss calls every game. So you guys may look good in comparison.

New administrations are always good. A new perspective, unlimited optimisim, hope for the future. Until they become imobilized in the same quagmire as the administration before them and the one before that with bureaucratic red tape finally binding them.

I just found out the politics board is no more.

So . . . my thinking has changed 100%, since I know the new admins. are not needed to be policemen.

Good choices!

Still I can't congratulate Buck and Roam on getting a thankless job. Good for us, but not for them. A bereavement card would likely be more in order. So I'll just say, "Sorry guys."

On that note, UB needs to change his name to Tommy Carcetti.

Which one is in charge of getting the pizza, and which one gets the office with the purty winders?

Enforce the rules, keep the peace, address concerns, tidy up the board (keeping threads on the right boards, making sure pasted articles have URLs/Author/Name of Web Site, etc.), discuss board issues among one another to make "big" decisions.
