The Pacers will likely be shorthanded tonight because center Jeff Foster is doubtful with an injured left knee, which happened in the final minutes Saturday.

Well I think that leaves JOB with no other option than to start JO, with David and/or IKE :) in the rotation.

We were right in the tunnel near the game's end and Jeff was limping really bad.

Looks like JO gets the bump into the starting lineup. Pacers.com said he was going to see an increase in his minutes.

Thanks for giving it your all this year, every game you played in, Jeff.

It isn't like we're playing for anything, anyway. Realistic playoff hopes are over for us.

Not the left knee!!!!!

It's their left knee's that are giving JO and Tinsley problems.

Nope...that just means that Murphy plays 40 minutes, JONeal plays 20 minutes, Harrison 16 minutes, Shawne 15 minutes and Ike 5 minutes.

I guarantee that JO'B will lean on Murphy to shoulder the bulk of the Center minutes and go Small ball for the majority of the game. Regardless of the game, JO'B has been sticking to the egg-timer 20-minute limit for JONeal like it was one of the Ten Commandments.

I'm not saying that he's injury prone or anything....but Foster always had some type of injury that has limited how he plays from season to season.

I'm not surprised that it has finally caught up with him given the amount of minutes that he has played this season.

I'm glad that he's been able to stick with the team this long without breaking down in some manner.

Not that it's a big deal, but Pacers.com says it's the right knee, not the left.

(For Peck) Well's can't even get his facts straight. (grin)

Ouch, aside from Foster being out, the quote from Mike Dunleavy in the link Mal provided is pretty telling:

"Technically we're still in it," Pacers forward Mike Dunleavy said. "Overall this group has pretty good resiliency and fight, but unfortunately, we don't have maturity and concentration, and that's what has hurt us so many times this year. When we look back on stuff, we always say we should have had that one or that one or this one. It's so fitting."

Hopefully this starts getting resolved day 1 of the offseason.

Who's going to guard Antawn Jamison? Danny I suspect? I guess that works out they are similar sizes.
