I am heading to Boston for the next week. I'll be taking in the Red Sox home opener, too. Any suggestions on places to eat? I love me some good food.

A few excellent places off the top of my head...(I lived in Cambridge during college so it's a little Cambridge-biased):

Brazilian (don't let the name fool you):
http://www.midwestgrillrestaurant.com/

Portugese:
http://www.restaurantcasaportugal.com/

Tapas:
www.dalirestaurant.com
www.tapeo.com (http://www.tapeo.com) (actually in Boston)

French-Cambodian (Boston/Cambridge):
http://www.elephantwalk.com/

American/touristy (great view, a little pricey):
http://www.topofthehub.net/

Puerto Rican (more of a lunch/takeout place):
http://maps.google.com/maps?ie=UTF-8&oe=utf-8&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a&um=1&q=izzy's&near=Cambridge,+MA&fb=1&view=text&latlng=42366162,-71095695,4120507842016263788 (http://maps.google.com/maps?ie=UTF-8&oe=utf-8&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a&um=1&q=izzy%27s&near=Cambridge,+MA&fb=1&view=text&latlng=42366162,-71095695,4120507842016263788)

Let me know if you are looking for anything in specific (i.e. steaks, etc.).

Avoid the dining halls at Boston College.

Yikes...sorry...as much as I love New England, I'm more of a Boston/Cambridge guy. Open table is definitely your friend here. I just kinda pitched some places that I like that might not stick out via opentable. There's lots of good steak in Boston. Personally, I've never had better steak anywhere than St. Elmo's but if you want steak, there's several good places in Back Bay/Newbury area. Again, check opentable there.

I have only been to boston once, but there was a place called Anthony's Pier 4 when I was there about 5 years ago that the lobster and pop overs were FABULOUS!

Was a little pricey, but I was on an expense account.

You can come down to my basement and we can play tea party with my other friends and do the dishes afterwards so it won't be my bad thing.

Haha, I was about to suggest Anthony's Pier 4. It's excellent. Especially if you like your seafood. I didn't think it was excessively pricey either, compared to most Boston places.
