I did read that. Best story I've read today.

A few years back I was helping my dad and brother-in-law tag, give shots, and de-ball some calves at home on the farm. One of the psycho mama cows was none-too-happy about us farking with her youngins, so the crazy b*tch decided to pretty much run my arse over.

Luckily I was close enough to jump in a nearby backhoe and escape her wrath. She meant business.

I think I may have soiled my drawers in the process, but I'm also certain it was hilarious to anyone watching.

I love it at taco bell how they either throw no sauce in the bag or 15 packets of sauce, even though they clearly see one person in the car ordering one taco. You want sauce you get sauce baby.

At wendy's you can ask for extra crackers with a small chili and they'll give you 2 total.

I wish a few of the taco bell guys would go work at wendy's in the cracker department.

That didn't come out right.

Twes

I'm sorry, did you say $39.95.

Spicoli
03-26-2008, 04:03 PM
Man you never know with taco bell what you're going to get. The one right near my house will get you you're entire order in under 90 seconds almost guaranteed.

You can have a less complicated order at the taco hell 3 miles up the road, and you're lucky if you get your food in less than 15 minutes. And they are guaranteed to fark it up big time.

I have found, however, in all my taco hell adventures, that you never know how many or what type of sauces you will end up with. I think some of them just say "F it" and throw in 934765908347 packets of each type of sauce. Some will throw you in 1 packet per item. And some never ask or give you any at all.

And how the hell you can eat tacos without sauce. That's a crime in Idaho. Fockers.

Twes
03-26-2008, 04:05 PM

It's not like what you are about to eat is really going to be worth getting out of your car and waiting in line anyway. But every time I go in there

And, Twes, you must have had a coupon to escape Arby's with a sandwich for less than $50.

I think that Arby's must be run by the oil companies. Both places you get gas and are forced to grab your ankles and take it like a fresh prisoner in San Quentin.

First, Twes, you need to get out more. I see why you post in here....how many posts by you in a row? I don't even want to know!

Second, Taco Bell is an enigma wrapped in a mystery. I still can't figure out why they got rid of breakfast (the country breakfast burrito rocked A$$) or the Bacon Cheeseburger burrito.

Third, yes, Arby's eats a$$ for cost....and taste. It is where the oldskey's eat around here. Not sure you can enter ours without flashing your AARP card. Geezer could help us with this one...

May I submit for your consideration Veedersburg, Indiana? In the 1890s, this town in Fountain County had a dozen hotels, and a population around 2000. It was a hub (Hub City motto) for the railroads. The railroads were killed by the auto. By the 1950s, V'Burg had 1800 people, one motel, and a still vibrant small downtown area. It was still the crossroads of US41 and US136.

When I-74 went thru north of town, the US136 path thru town was dirt-bermed off. Dead ends at each end of town, east-west. Half of the businesses downtown went out of business over the next 15 years.

Yet the town is starting to recover due to an aggressive tax-incentive, business friendly policy which has lured a couple of small factories to the outskirts, with access to I74....a german-owned steel foundry and another one I forget (don't live there anymore).

The current socio-economic oddity for the old salts of the town is that the factories on the outskirts have drawn in some Mexican-American workers....Veedersburg actually has a minority group now.

Kind of funny listening to my 77-yr-old step-mom try to come to terms....the mexican fellow that cuts her brother-in-law's grass "is so polite"...and she's still on that police band scanner every night listening for evidence of general minority-originated rape and mayhem.

Times change. The car culture, not just interstates, affected the landscape of the U.S. in so many ways. Folks from my grandparents' generation could still live and die and never get 50 miles from their hometown.

Hang on. It's still a bumpy ride.

If that man is Twes, you had better hope that you have a gun and a shovel.

I wonder if you can sell a house while highly inebriated?

I think you're attacking this equation from the wrong end.

You need to be focussed on the guy looking to buy a house while highly inebriated.

Thanks for adding Rimfire to the mix. One more flocking voice to contend with.

You don't have to worry about too many voices in your head until you reach a couple dozen.

Then it gets interesting. :disturbed

Then it becomes kind of a background hum with no single voice punching thru.

I actually kind of like the "white noise" effect of it.

By the way, it might make sense to double up on the Nexiums today buddy.

SOunds like you and the Rimfire personality got a little crazy in the midnight kitchen.

Well... I can think of worse things.

Like bloody backpacks wedged in the wheel well.

Hypotheticly.

Don't you hate wakin' up and seeing that bloody backpack and sayin "damn it, not again!"

Hypothetically also, of course.

Exactly. You think you build in safeguards to avoid this crap and whammo, right back in the same places.

Teeth out of bumpers, hair gets in everything, remnants of bone chips. It never ends.

Let's be real here.

You can work with them and work with them, but how long can you really keep that moth from flying into the flame.

How long till he starts banging his little moth head on that lightbulb.

You can read him books until the cows come home but at the end of the day the light bulb is his destiny.

You can see it comin but ya can't stop it.

Or so I hear.

By the way... I'm shooting Rage 2 blades this year.

Stay tuned.

From my understanding, you can almost hear that moth banging his head on the light . . . just before he incinerates himself like the 4th of July.

No kidding. That sounds a little frightening to me. Keep your head down and your papers in order.

Have fun.
