No invite to the NIT or the CBI. They had the best record of all the teams left out of the NCAA tourney. What a joke.

I think that any team with connections to the state of Indiana got screwed, except Purdue and ND, and who thinks of them as Indiana schools anyway.

Weren't they the number 1 seed in the conference tourney? Or were they 2?

Maybe it had something to do with the mascot fight that happened during the finals with ORU.

Looks like Oral Roberts was number 1. Hmmm guess IUPUI just doesn't have any appeal

Yeah the whole state got hosed. 3 of 4 teams in the same regional. And Butler got rewarded for their excellent season with a first round matchup in their opponents home state, and a potential 2nd round game with Tennesee. Unbelievable. IUPUI not getting an NIT bid is ridiculous.

#2. They always lose to Oral freakin' Roberts.

This is what kills a programs recruiting and sincere attempts to get better. IUPUI does what it can, does it the right way and there is no reward for it. What's the point?

IUPUI has the biggest reason to complain of any Indiana school. No postseason invite is freakin' disgraceful.

Unbelievable. Oral Roberts has a huge advantage since they host the tournament every year, a complete joke. At least they'll get Larry Stone, and Hill and Patterson will be back. However, this does a damper to recruits and hurts any chance of getting a new arena.

They could have at least been an eighth seed in the NIT, they wouldn't have to hosted a home game.

Doesn't ORU host it because they finish with the best regular season record?

number 1 seed hosts the tourney until they get knocked out and then it moves to the next highest alive team
