I still don't think the Pacers would win the title, oe even the east with Shaq.

I could only imagine what Shaq would say in an interview.. "I did this for Reggie. This is what I do. I get rings."

Crazy rumor. I'd do it only if Jermaine had permanent damage to his knee.

Shaq would gurantee us a championship but Id prefer work to earn it with what we have now (plus a SG and maybe a center upgrade)

I wouldn't even consider Jermaine/Shaq.

i don't see this as anything but nonsense. shaq will probably be gone in 3-4 yrs anyway. then there is the glamour factor. he would rather retire than come here. he left orlando because he wanted to be in the hollywood scene. what would he and his entourage of hangers-on do here?
for guys like him, this place is just not nearly cool enough. and i'm fine with that. shaq is an idiot and he belongs in l.a.

Yes, Donnie will do a complete 180; throw away his entire philosophy of always keeping the future in mind, by throwing away half his young players for a guy who will be good for 3 years tops.

this quote disturbs me...

There has been some speculation that Miller might come off the bench next season, but Carlisle said he doubts that would happen.

"If he returns for an 18th year, my feeling would be he probably would be a starter next year," Carlisle said.
