Am I a looser or what here I am in Florida and I am checking in on the message board.

Anyway it is in the high 50's right now. I dont know what it will get up to.

The drive was really nice once I got out of Indiana.

I am sitting here waiting on a call from the title company so I cant go get my other work done untill then so I figured I would check in on the Pacers. Nice to see we kicked some @ss last night. Wish I could have seen it.

Right now I would be happy with 30 degrees. 50's, 60's,70's seem impossible to imagine

I have friends in Texas that complain to me DAILY about the "freezing" 45-degree weather days theyre having down there..... :unimpressed:

Meanwhile, I'd settle for 10 and LESS than 2 feet of snow on the ground, at this point......the sidewalks are starting to look like tunnels.....

After the past few weeks it is amazing how the 20's, if there is very little wind, can seem quite balmy

Theres always beach pictures on the front pages of newspapers down here during the winter. They show people walking the beach in heavy coats while other people are in their swimsuits and Bikini's.

From that it's easy to tell who lives down here and who's visiting. I lived down here a couple years before I thought the winters were a bit chilly.

What I like about living here in southwest florida is it seems like there is at least one day a week that is beach weather.

It's expected to get up to 68 degrees here today in Los Angeles. It's been like this for the past week. Absolutely beautiful. Balmy at night.

42 degrees and sunny.....

But the ground is still covered with the ice and snow from the ice storm of Sunday, monday and tuesday of this week.

it could be better for sure.

Maybe it'll be warm enough this weekend I could hit the links......but I doubt it....

Then I'll just have to remind you that we have virtually no humidity or gnats and mosquitos in the summer.

Chicago: We're in the midst of a stretch of five straight days with a forecasted high of 8 degrees and forecasted windchills of -15 to -25 during the days.

I hate you all. :D
