We can atleast 3 of 6. If we do that we can still find a way to manage the the 8thor 9th seed!!!

1-8, 20-34 at the deadline. If we're going to tank, now is the time.

And beating Houston is just a gut feeling for some reason.

There's no such thing as a 9th seed.

It's also probably too early to be typing while drunk.

And that schedule is brutal.

Yeah, 2-7 would be a huge success. That says a lot.

The Knicks game is one of the biggest of the year. It's a must lose game!

What do you make of the fact that Oneal07 didn't even manage to insert the verb "win" into that sentence?

Maybe he didn't intend that verb. Maybe he intended "stay within 10 points" or "lead after 3 quarters." :happydanc

Yes...It was a historic feat for both English and mathmatics.

We kid, Oneal07, we kid.

I posted this same idea a few days ago in a different thread. I was told by someone whom is not important that "no way we go on an 11-game skid", but it is entirely too possible. If we do it could be the slide that sparks the changes we are looking for.

Are you sure that gut feeling isn't indigestion?

I can totally see Yao and TMac putting up about 55+ points combined. On top of that, I'm gonna guess that Luis Scola or Chuck Hayes is going to have a career night against us.

We're going to go 0-9 and complete our perfect record against losing at least once to every team below us in the Standings.

BTW.....we don't have to tank....we just have to play like we always play and see what cards we flop "on the Turn" and then "on the River". Unfortunately, we've been dealt a "2 and 7 off-suit" for the last 1 1/2 seasons :banghead:.

Even a blind squirrel finds a nut sometimes so I gotta believe we'll eek out a win in there somewhere.

But I wouldn't bet against us going 0-9 either!

Mayo is currently projected to go 10th on NBADraft.net.

Besides, do you really want Ron Artest II?

Somewhere in there JO will return "all better" and eager to play. 10 games later he will go to the sidelines AGAIN.

Pacers will go 3-6 or 2-7 at the worst. They'll have at least 2-3 games where they live by the three and/or catch fire in the fourth quarter.

well I feel we NEED to lose the new york game, just to batter home the "we need a change" idea...would't bet against us losing all of them though...is it wrong to prefer it?

Are you guys kidding?

Knowing the Pacers, we'll find a way to win a few of those games, and slip into the playoffs at an 8 seed, get swept by Boston, and grab a mediocre swingman with the 15th pick of the draft.

And the cycle will continue.

But it's okay, because according to Bird and Walsh, mediocrity is a goal that should be pursued.

Here, read this.. It shows what all the players are projected.. Read it this mourning, and was shocked Gordon was so low.

-Yes, the teams are from last year's draft order, but who cares? It's just ranking the players.

Lol, and Dcpacersfan.. Your so right.. It's always the same thing over and over again, when are we gonna learn that we need to either make a huge move, to try and be great, or accept the fact that we suck, and start rebuilding(like the Sonics).

I'm thinking that it's going to be the Houston or Orlando game on the 1st or 2nd of February....both home games and a full 6-7 games before the Trade Deadline. TPTB will play him just enough before the trade deadline to show that he's potentially healthy....just to see if there is any stupid GMs out there that will try to make an offer.

Once the trade deadline is up and he is still a Pacer.....he will return to Cloud City where he will be frozen in Carbonite while he recovers. My guess he will then be thawed out as we get close to the Playoffs to try to make another desperate push for the Playoffs by mid-March for the 8th Spot in the East.

Am I supposed to take seriously a mock draft that compares OJ Mayo to Kobe and Jordan?
