View Full Version : SEASON OVER =(

Let me start with a collective "**** you" to all NBA refs for allowing Detroit to bend us over the entire series. The Pistons lived over the back the entire series and never got called for it. Detroit was allowed to bump and slap while we were called for everything in the book. Yeah, that's really ****ing fair. So much for JO getting "superstar calls."

I'll extend that "**** you" to ESPN and it's biased ******** favoring the Pistons on every possession and in every game.

I won't be wasting my time with the Finals. The Pistons have no chance, and the Lakers will get all the calls that the Pistons got in this series. And I hate both teams, so I don't want either one to win. Neither of them deserve it.

In the offseason, bring in a ****ing shooter. Preferably T-Mac. Offer up Ron and Al for him.

Reggie is finished.

Good riddance, Kenny Anderson.

Major props to JO. He left it all on the floor.

It was a good season -- too bad we couldn't make it a great one.

I think blaming the refs is something of a cop-out excuse. Pacers simply weren't good enough. Maybe next year. Maybe.

You seek the talismans?

Well it's a crappy way to end it, but I sure hope this was Reggies last game as a pacer. He is really holding the team back. This offseason gonna be a tough one. After this series I think Artest is gonna be on the trading block for sure.

I think Artest would fit in better if he wasn't required to be the second scoring option. I hope we don't trade him just based on this one series, considering how good he's been for us throughout the year.

I don't usually say this, but the officiating was awful. Not much more to say than that.

I dont think they will trade him, but lets face it no matter how good your D is if you cant score you will not win an NBA title. We gave up too much offense with a certain trade. We could have used more size and mid range shooting in this series and we all know it.

We need to trade just about anyone other than Jermaine or Jamaal for s flat out scorer.

That pretty much says it all. He SHOULD have fouled out.

Just waiting for the opportunity, eh?

Let's see, Pacers with Brad, 3 first round exits. Pacers without Brad, ECFs.

Artest is on the block, mark my words.

I don't know if Artest is specifically, but the Pacers NEED a trade for a shooter. Reggie is only going to deteriorate more and more. Freddie has shown some nice flashes, but I don't think he'll get it done next season.

Harrington/Pollard for T-Mac.

A little unfair to the Magic? I dunno. Atkins/Sura/Rebreca seemed fair to get Rasheed. :unimpressed:

A: The Pistons do play very good defense.

B: The hype about their defense causes the refs to give them the benefit of the doubt.

...but we got the same with Artest this year. His defensive reputation let him get away with things other players would be called for.

....I'm not blaming the refs. We also play a physical style... we're just not as balanced as Detroit. In the end, Detroit matched us and had a 'go to' guy to boot.

I think people will be surprised because I don't think LA will walk all over Detroit. ....as long as the refs call the games as they did this series.

I'm gonna be preaching it until I'm convinced it can't happen: Ron and Al for T-Mac.
