OK folks, IF we lose tonight, and Reggie retires this summer, then tonight will be HIS LAST GAME EVER in the NBA.

Does it matter? Do you think it's on his mind? His performance in Game 5 has GOT to be eating at him - if he has any competitive bone left in his body (he does) then you know he has to feel terrible.

So whaddya think? You think he lays his cojones on the table and goes for broke? Or will his career end with a whimper?

That's one question I have no idea and refuse to guess: I'm just gonna watch and hope he makes me smile.

I think he will definitely try to set his mark on the game. Its good if he gets hot quickly, if not than I hope Rick is strong enough to pull him off the court and insert him a little later.

GO PACERS, GO REGGIE!!!

Mourning

I suppose there's a slight possibility that Ricks' final trick/twist is to run the offense through Reggie and go for broke off the idea that Reggie still thinks he can do it.

That'd be such a classic if it worked.

Yes it would. :)

He'll be back. Though, sadly, it's debatable at this point if that's a good thing.

Only 1 person knows this answer , Reggie Miller

I could speculate all day ;)

If he realizes he can no longer be productive , I think the answere is Yes , but if he still thinks he can be productive and the Pacers Management thinks the same then NO

Right now I think it's 50/50 and I am leaning more towards he will retire before next season. I personally would rather see him retire while the good memories are still around and no after another sub par season.

Wow, when you put it like that this is a pretty big game, unfortunately we don't know for sure. I think Reggie deserves to go out with the fans knowing it is his last season so we can show our appreciation appropriately. But I could see him hanging it up this year if he feels it is time and avoiding all the publicity. Here's to Reg and hoping that this will be a game he can be proud of no matter what he decides later.

I would hate to see this being his last game.

He never got the standing ovation necessary from our fans in Game 5...this won't be his last.

If we lose. Yes, it' his last. I said before I think he's gonna hang em up this year. Now, I hope he goes out and proves me wrong on EVERY count.

I think he'll be back. Game 2, minus the block of course, shows he can still be a productive member. I wouldn't be surprised to see him come back and tell Rick he's willing to come off the bench, if necessary. But maybe that's just me.

With our without Reggie, I think we're going to see a different team next year. I'm not saying we're getting TMac or anything, but I fully expect Larry to try and put his stamp on this team. And, no, I'm not sure if that's a terribly good thing.

If he does return next year and is a starter , I will be very upset , we need a productive SG and if this series hasn't made it clear enough then some are just blind.

If Kobe becomes a Pacer I'll WILL NOT be renewing my season tickets. If you want them you'll find them shoved up Larry Bird's hind end!
