well i have a strange feeling, but like i had before game 4, I also have a feeling that Rick will try a lot of players, but will let them play as they see fit instead of micromanaging it.

We mgith be in for a treat ........

If Pollard gets off the bench, you know something's up.

I would seriously, seriously consider starting this lineup tonight:

C-Pollard
PF-Bender
SF-Jones
SG-Miller
PG-Anderson

I would love to see the Pistons' coaches/players' faces when they see those guys all out to start the game. I wonder if it would scare them into thinking that we have some sort of master plan and then they'd panic.

I also think that lineup would motivate our players, like Ron, JO, and Al, to go out there and give it their all when they first get in the game...How would you, as a Pistons fan/player like to see those 3 guys coming off the bench if there was a stoppage of play and your team was down already?

Whatever, I think I'm going insane.

Aren't we 2-0 in coubtdown games and 0-3 in countdown games? I thought my correctly spelled, posted too early countdown thread may have jonxed us last game and now able does the same damn thing.
If we lose tonight, it's all on able :)
Anyways, hopefully we come out playing like we have to win (which we do obviously) much like we did in game 4. If we do that then I'm positive we'll win. If not...then I'll see you all in late October.
Also, does anything else think that Reggie, if he starts out slow and Rip comes out hot, should go to Rick early on and ask to be taken out before its too late? If we're gonna try Freddie on RIp Id rather it be tested out in the first half, not when were down 15 with 8 minutes to go in the game.

Since I have a club meeting tonight and cannot watch or listen to most of the game, we will probably win. Seriously.

Tell me about it. The two games I've been resorted to the radio for in the playoffs we've won in blowouts (Game 5 against Miami and Game 4 against Detroit).

It's always all on able. :flirt:

MSA, believe it or not, I kinda like your idea. We've got to shake things up somehow, and putting in a different lineup would do just that. I'd only be concerned about how our players handled the shifted PT responsibilities, but I'd try it anyhow.

In reality, I think Freddie will start, and maybe Al.

The biggest change: Rick leaves the ingame coaching to Brown!!

And the N in the thread subject is tempting faith to come after me, I challenge the gods of bad luck to chase me, I can take it!

When I was a little baby, my momma said HEY SON
if ya ever root for the Lakers now dont'cha tell me what yuv done.
When I was a little baby, my poppa said HEY SON, there's a place saved for Laker fans, a place that they call hell.
And I don't give a damn for a purple and gold jersey... make me wanna throw up
For a cocky Kobe and whinein Shaq just make me wanna stay home...yeah make me wanna stay home.

(may be edited for Pistons as you so choose)

I only get 18 channels, and they all suck except for ESPN.

I guess I could go watch the pre-game show in 4 minutes but I'm not sure I can handle Stephen A. Smith.
