The Sonics are definitely a team we should target. Either him or Watson could probably be had now that they have West.

I think Ridnour would be a great addition. Lets hope for this

Won't happen, Luke makes $6.5 million per year. You don't pay backups that much money.

Are you sure? I mean, weren't AJ and Sarunas combining to make about $6.5 million?

Well, Marquis makes $6.3mm this year and Jeff makes $5.5mm. Why not one more? :D Or better yet, swap one of them for him. If you want him.

Ridnour is nice but I would rather have Watson because he is a much better defender.

NO D! Good PG handles, passing, vision. Poor shooting. Kinda sounds like Tins lite.

Better than what we've got backing up, but if I had my druthers I'd take Dixon over him.

Seatle would never take on Murphy's contract, they are young and rebuilding not taking on dead weight on.

No way the Sonics do that deal. Thomas is doing well for them after coming over from Phoenix this summer. They need his experience and toughness aswell. Besides, I would rather make a go at Watson compared to Luke Ridnour.

Just my :twocents:

Other teams with crowded backcourts that we should be watching:

Houston: Mike James is the odd man out and would make a good backup PG here.

LA Clippers: I just read that with Cassell returning that PD favorite Brevin Knight has fallen behind Dickau. If we could swoop in and land Knight as our backup PG that would be a fantastic move.

Just from looking at their boxscores recently, Aaron Brooks has been getting some minutes lately. Also, when T-Mac is healthy Head plays some PG.

So they have Alston, Head, Brooks, Francis, and James. I think James would be the guy they would trade.
