I hate the Patriots more. Even though hate is a strong word. I'd rather say I don't respect them. I respect the Pistons.

Erik
12-29-2007, 04:24 PM
The Pats, no question. I stopped hating the Pistons at the end of Reggie's last game when they showed some major class. These days I even like the Piston's, even that "monkey mouth b!#ch" (thank you, E-40.), Rasheed Wallace.

Hopefully this isn't a blowout.

But I really don't like our chances with Tinsley hobbled, Dunleavy, Granger playing worthless.

I don't think we have a chance, and it's not like we can rely on fan energy from the funeral home.

Please make me eat my words.

Please make me eat my words. I have the same attitude. I'm usually very optimistic when it comes to my favorite team, but I just can't see it tonight and I hate this feeling.:thepacers Please make me eat my words.

I'm starting to become pretty numb about it with the Pacers.

But if it's a loss against a team we should beat or had beat then I'll get pretty upset.

I hate it when officials wait to call the foul after the shot is missed. Just shows that they don't know what they're doing.

Where's Rep Porter tonight? Sounds like there's someone else on the PA.

AesopRockOn
12-29-2007, 07:37 PM
Need to get to the line more often. Drive to the basket MIKE.

Don't let what happened last game occur.

I noticed that too, kinda sounds like Porter, then again it doesn't.

LOL another late foul.

The refs wait until the Pistons miss then they blow the whistle.

Why can't Dunleavy and Granger play like this all the time?

AesopRockOn
12-29-2007, 08:07 PM
That needs to happen so much more often.

AesopRockOn
12-29-2007, 08:10 PM

12-29-2007, 08:11 PM
good first half. looking forward to the 3rd quarter.

Should be tied but still a very good half for the Pacers.

LoneGranger33

Ike and Quis look ****ty. Owens, O'Neal and Murphy looking pretty good.

Kofi
12-29-2007, 08:13 PM
We're seeing a dream match-up out there, Rodney Stuckey vs Andre Owens. So far Owen's is outplaying Stuckey, although both have been simply amazing.

Kstat
12-29-2007, 08:15 PM
I was pretty pleased with Stuckey that half, other than his stupid foul.

He's going to get his rhythm eventually, and he'll start converting on more of those drives. I give him 3-4 weeks.

Oneal07
12-29-2007, 08:18 PM
IS this the same Pacer team from last night?

Shade
12-29-2007, 08:27 PM
I'm at work, so I can't watch the game :(, but so far it's going as I expected. I called a blowout loss yesterday and a close loss tonight.

AesopRockOn
12-29-2007, 08:30 PM
Troy Murphy is stupid.

CableKC
12-29-2007, 08:30 PM
Typical 3rd QTR start. 2 straight baskets by the Pistons, a missed shot by Murphy and then a TO by Murphy.

Kstat
12-29-2007, 08:31 PM
This is pretty much how the Pistons play on the road. Trade jabs for two quarters and bring out the sledgehammer in the 3rd.

I hope they can land it, but Indiana has been pretty solid so far. Something tells me they aren't going anywhere.

LMAO.

That's a flagrant but Shaq gets nothing on his foul.....

JOKE.

Kstat
12-29-2007, 08:36 PM
wussy flagrant, I won't argue that. But the correct call by today's wussy standards.

Lord Helmet
12-29-2007, 08:38 PM

Did Chancey just slam the ball on the ground and not get a T? Isn't that against one of the new stupid ref rules?

Kstat
12-29-2007, 08:45 PM
I'm loving this game. I haven't seen a close 4th quarter in weeks.

Kstat
12-29-2007, 08:45 PM

He was trying to bounce it in the basket. Not really a slam.

Prays for a Nice 4th Quarter from our team to get the victory

Kstat
12-29-2007, 08:52 PM
Rodney needs to stay away from JO. A fine line between fearless and stupid, and that last shot was stupid.

Other than that, he's impressing me.

AesopRockOn
12-29-2007, 08:52 PM
That's it. We need to do Diener for Stuckey.

aceace
12-29-2007, 08:55 PM
It will be quite obvious if we do not pull out this win that we do not have a team capable of competing at the highest level. We have played 30 games now and while we have looked good at times we are too inconsistent. A trade must be made to bring better chemistry.

Oneal07
12-29-2007, 08:56 PM

12-29-2007, 09:21 PM
We just have to convert on 2pt shots or drives to the hoop........I don't think that we need a 3pt shot unless the player is wide-open shots.

AesopRockOn
12-29-2007, 09:22 PM
Gotta go in to JO.

Lord Helmet
12-29-2007, 09:22 PM
How sad. So close but we manage to screw up every time. Could not take the lead or even tie it.

But at least we are going to lose by 5 or less.

Sheed the steal, Rip applies the dagger.

Kareem Rush has no business pump faking like that. Sheed isn't going to jump in the air to challenge a 25-footer from Kareem Rush of all people. He's 7 feet tall to begin with.

Not to mention, when you ball fake you expose the ball.

Pacers get swept by Detroit. Fairly predictable. Back to under .500 they go.

Pistons can execute and convert when they need to.

Pacers can't execute and convert when they need to.

End of story...end of game.

The Pistons are better than us.

I'll leave it at that.

We came out and played a fairly nice game against the best team in the East.

I still think we're a fairy decent team and can make the playoffs, a lot thanks to O'Brien and his staff.

LoneGranger33
12-29-2007, 09:32 PM
Owens and Dunleavy should have finished this game, not Rush and Daniels - the guy was making mistakes left and right.
