I don't mind snow, but snowing this weekend is not when I want it. Snow during the week please - it is ruining my whole weeknd.

Are you an 80-year-old lady or something?

Last summer it's too hot - now it's snowing - wa-wa-wa. :D

BTW - the reason it's snowing this weekend is so I don't have to go to a party I was hoping to come up with an excuse to avoid. :happydanc:

It started here in West Lafayette right at 8am. Only 10+ more inches of snow to go! It's going to be a fun weekend!

Have fun with that, guys.

It snows in DC, but 10 inches or whatever is basically unthinkable here. **** closes down if we get 2 inches.

And if it's like 20 in Indiana, it's usually around 40 in DC. Of course a lot of my family lives in Florida so I am usually at the receiving end of this sort of talk!

It's total bull****, we're going to get snow all weekend and it will be all clear and fine by Monday.

:unimpress

It's going to rain this Thursday....:unimpress

I don't get it. I'd rather the bad weather happen over the weekend so the roads can get cleared up by Monday so I'm not left having to leave an hour early for work. It's December, what exactly did you plan to do with your weekend anyways? :D

seriously, its ridiculous. my VP freaks out at the thought that even an inch of snow could be coming. we've taken to slipping Xanax in her drinks during winter months. it was a real treat to get her to go to des moines for the presidential debate we hosted last week.

That was a candy-*** excuse for a storm.

I think the weatherpeople around here take courses in "How to incite weather-induced hysteria."

Hmmm...the kids and wifey are off to school. Nobody will want to look at houses this week :) (I love being semi-retired and working for myself). THink I'll make another pot of coffee and see if there's a good DVD to watch.

What is this snow you speak of? By the way it is currently 30 degrees in beautiful San Antonio this morning. I'm not going out until it gets up to 50 this afternoon. Man I hate the month of winter down here!

I agree Ken, Its horrible in NC today too. The high today is like 50. Just blistering cold.....:D

It was windy and cold yesterday. But no snow here. And if you even mention the word snow here, they shut the city down. So don't even whisper it....

Speaking of Snow havens, anybody heard from Btown lately? I looked last week and he hadn't been on since sometime in November. Is all the snow and Torts up there holding him hostage not allowing him to post?

I'm just glad i still have the parka i bought for my trips to Madison last year. It comes in handy for these cold days.

The snow wasn't really bad, I think the only time it was pretty bad was between about 2:00 am and maybe around 8:00 AM Sunday morning.

But I'll tell you if you just stay in your house and rely on the local TV news to inform you about how it is outside and on the roads, you would think the whole city has shut down and it isn't safe for humans to be outside of your house.

The local news loves snow, it is an easy story to cover and their ratings go through the roof. So the last thing they are ever going to say is the roads are OK, the snow isn't so bad and it really isn't even that cold out here - turn off your TV get in your car and go for a drive.

We had 11" here in Lafayette. The roads are still not great. At some intersections it's pretty good, but overall it's slow going everywhere if you want to be safe.
