They've decided what they feel are the best moments, and are counting them down with Bill Walton narrating. It's just a simple program good for reliving a lot of moments.

Hey! I saw the commercials for this then forgot. Nice, I was going to sit around and go through some boxes of stuff today and get rid of some things. Now I'll have something to watch while I do that.

Updated too.....#30 was Fisher's shot at San Antonio.....

#28 is Jordan's 63 vs Boston, i disagree, thats way too low

Cactus Jax

Good they're showing the 88 dunk contest. This was a crime against Wilkins that Jordan won, as Jordan did the free-throw line dunk twice.

Also Reggie will be on sometime later, and you gotta love how quickly the Lakers/Spurs game 5 got up there.

Anyone who saw that contest in 1988 knows Wilkens had the better contest. Jordan won because he was at home.

Yeah that's WAY too low for the birth of a legend.

Also could someone keep a tally or something?, or maybe I will... :unimpressed:

#27...Larry Bird? I guess his retirement.
#26...Game 2 of 1984 Finals(Henderson steal)
#25...Isiah Thomas vs Bernard King in 84 1st round...This is WAY too low.
#24 Elgin Baylor(most points in a finals game.)
#23 Jordan vs Wilkins 88 Dunk contest(Of course they never show the Wilkins dunks and robberys :unimpressed:)

#25, Isiah's 16 points in the last 1:36 vs NY in game 5. Amazing display of scoring.

But Bernard King freaking topped him. Must underrated athlete in NY history.

Too low again I agree....that game 5 was one of the 5 greatest games ever played.

They better or else this will be kinda stupid...although I feel tons of MJ coming up in the top 10. I'm sure they will throw all of Reggie's stuff into one number.

NEVER in the history of basketball have TWO guys ben THAT hot at the SAME TIME.....it amazed me. I'm glad I have it on tape.

Didnt help that no defense at ALL was played in that game :D

BIrd hits, then Wilkens hits, then bird hits....it was a russian roulette on hardwood

#6: game 5 of the 1976 NBA finals, Phoenix vs Boston. Widely considered "the greatest NBA game ever played."

I wont say that, but I WILL say there were more clutch plays in that game than any other game ive ever seen in my entire life. Every big shot went through the basket for both sides.

Also Glenn McDonald was Brian Scalabrane before Brian Scalabrane.....

That game Magic played at center was my 1st time ever attending a 76ers game. The best way to describe the mood at the Spectrum was "shock and awe". Sixer fans thought for sure we were going to game 7 without Jabbar there. :(

Bernard King was awesome; by far my favorite non 76er of all time. :)

Hicks
05-31-2004, 02:39 PM
That replay of Havlecek stealing the ball always cracks me up; he takes a shot as the crowd is rushing the floor, it misses, lands near the FT line, and some fan out of now where running against the sea of people, rushes in, snatches the ball, and flies out of sight into the crowd, never to be seen again.

I take it back. THIS is the most overrated moment in NBA history. Willis scored FOUR FRAKING POINTS!

Oh, and some guy named Walt Frazier had 36 points, 19 assists, and 8 or 9 steals that I counted. But it was WILLIS'S MOMENT I TELL YOU!

Everytime Reggie has come on I've called my gf in so she can see what the fuss has been about (was never a basketball fan until she met me, heh).
