The Pistons are better, and they've got the refs on their side to boot. That will change against the Lakers, though.

Two straight homecourt losses -- what an embarassment.

Lakers over Pistons in 5.

I seriously can't believe that we can go from one extreme to the other so damn quickly. The Pacers showed NO HEART tonight. NONE. And the refs compounding things by homering on the side of Detroit YET AGAIN certainly doesn't help. Homecourt advantage my ***.

:(

I have to wonder what our chances will be like next year too if we lose this one. This is extra dissapointing because I think this was really going to be the best chance we will have to get to the finals over the coming years. Detroit is still going to be here and with a full year of Sheed probably much better. Other teams like Miami and such still on the rise. Our backcourt situation getting worse every year as Reggie gets older and I don't think we have the pieces to bring in a big time player back there so it is just gonna keep getting worse.

Oh and I hope to never see Croshere play another game for us. Guy has one good game every 10 if we are lucky and his fan boys act like his the second coming. Isiah misused him, he should be getting more minutes, blah blah blah. We saw the real Croshere tonight.

I hate to say this, but I'm going to be completely honest -- I don't know if I can take another year of this. I take these losses way too hard and I can't help that. This really hurts.

I know, and I'll be fine a couple days after the season ends. But I pour my heart and soul into the Pacers. It's also kind of a distraction from other things I have to deal with that are far more difficult.

We need a shooter, and alas, getting someone like McGrady would come at a price. But I'd do Ron for McGrady in a second. I think what McGrady would bring to our offense would more than offset what we would lose in defense without Ron.

This team needs to have some growing pains. How many times did you see the Bird teams look lost out there even when they were down? This is part of the learning experience. I don't like it much myself, but rarely do the stars align.

I dont think the NBA had much to do with losing by 18 points. You lose by 1 or 2, you can point a finger somewhere maybe, but its like us in game 4, When you get your *** kicked like that in your own building, you just need to admit it and move on. Can't blame the refs for a game like that.

When you're being allowed to get slapped around the whole game it can most certainly affect the whole game.

But we did get thoroughly outplayed tonight to boot.

Thats my point. There was a call or 2 in game 4 i wanted to have, but frankly when your team is playing like garbage, they dont DESERVE any calls. I'll be the first one to say 2 days ago I didnt even MENTION the refs, I was too busy cussing at my own players.
