Get Shawne in there somehow. Take either Dunleavy or Murphy out. Shawne is consistently aggressive, and the dude can put up numbers. Also, if he's this teams second best defender then maybe he should be in the starting lineup for that reason too. I'd vote to let Dunleavy come off the bench in this lineup:

G - Tinsley
G - Granger
F - Williams
F - Jermaine
C - Murphy

but this would work too:

G - Tinsley
G - Dunleavy
F - Granger
F - Williams
C - O'Neal

I'm a fan of having Williams firepower off the bench, but I think the guy would be doing this team a big favor by playing more minutes in the starting lineup. Will it solve this teams problems? No. But we've gotta start somewhere. Also, Ike couldn't come back soon enough.

I agree. Williams should start right now.

Once Ike returns, the following lineup would be my preference:

Tinsley
Williams
Granger
Ike
JO

Have Ike down low with JO in the high post. Williams is probably our most accurate shooter. He and Granger should shoot 3's and slash.

Williams has been impressive - yes he makes some mistakes, but he has some talent.

And I always like when Foster is on the court

If I had to bench someone, it'd be Murphy with Shawne at the 4. Still, it's just two games. Let's see him do it for 4 or 5 at least before we proclaim him the starter. And believe me, I love what I'm seeing from him, but if we get too excited too soon we're setting ourselves up for a let down.

If i had to bench someone, it would be JO. He might actually do well with the second unit. They can slow the ball down and his D would let them keep up with the opponent without having to put up 30 points per quarter.

He showed the signs last season too once he finally started getting a chance to play. I think the guy can easily be a #1 option at some point. The way he's coming along, that could be next season. It seems like he's playing with more confidence and more swagger than anybody else on the team. Even when he's off, he's still aggressive. He has the skill set and is showing the ability to be a big time player. Lord knows we need that right now.
