Hey Hicks, how long did it take you to decide on Durant?

I was mulling it over most of the summer, but was barely leaning towards Kevin. Then when Greg went down it became easy.

Part of me thinks that the Oden "camp" kept his ailing body a secret until the paperwork was signed. This draft (the real draft, I mean) would have been completely different if Oden's health were a factor.

Sorry LA, I gotta disagree.

With so much money riding on that type decision I'm sure doctos went over the players, especially Oden, with a fine tooth comb.

Not only was Oden the #1 pick but he has had some injury issues the past year or so.

In the real world I could understand Oden going first but in the fantasy world, Durant going #1 was a no-brainer.

What's surprised me is I have 5 people who sent me draft lists and on every one Oden was listed either 1 or 2.

Before the draft my over/under would have been about 15.

They must believe in future Potential..... The Bender Dream must still be alive to some...

it sure is intresting, like you say many better choices to help win right now..

I have no idea what I would have done (actually, since I'm picking for Ken, Oden falling to me would've been impossible). Not like I need to hold players for the future - probably would just depend on who else is left. I have a couple of 2nd year sleepers I'm looking at pretty hard.

As long as he doesn't take Maceo Baston - Scott might have to hurt him.

Hey everyone, 2 quick questions

1) Do we still have the Pager Message Feature?

2) If so, could someone please remind me how to use it - been a while and I'm not seeing a link. Figure it'd make a good reminder for folks who are around but haven't picked.

You can pick The Dread Pirate Roberts if you want. Might not give you a lot of production though I hear he does have some potential as a slasher.

Well, one of the drawbacks of being a rookie is that I don't know everyone's roster very well ... made a right fool of myself playing pin the tail on the donkey.

Oh well, everything can be fixed through wavers and trades I guess.

Now that the draft is over, I'm dropping Anthony Johnson and picking up Ronnie Turiaf.
