Hicks asked when they are announced in another thread, but I want to know who you think should be the 12 players on the east and the 12 players on the west.

Off the top of my head here are my eastern conference allstars.

Kidd
Baron Davis
Paul Pierce
Tracy McGrady
Ron Artest.
Ben Wallace
J.O.
Lebron James
Michael Redd
Iverson
Vince Carter - I guess
Kenyon Martin
Damn where are all the big guys.

OK, who am I overlooking, seems like I am missing someone

I usually only pick players from winning teams, but it is impossible to do that in the east.

I know what is going to happen a few really good small guys will not make it because the coaches must vote for a center

C: O'Neal

Backups

F: Pierce, Martin, Al Harrington
C: Z; Magloire

East

Bigs: Jermaine, Ben Wallace, Carlos Boozer
mediums: Pierce, McGrady, Artest, Odom
littles: Kidd, Davis, Iverson, Redd, James

I'd leave off Carter, but that ain't going to happen. I could live with Billups over Redd and/or Magliore or Marbury over Odom.

I left Martin off since he's a jerk, but somebody may have to move over for him.

West
Bigs; Shaq, Yao, Duncan, Miller
almost-as-bigs: Garnett, Randolph, Nowitsky, Kirilenko
little: Cassell, Nash, Kobe, Peja

Gasol, Brand or Payton could make it over Zach or AK-47.

edit: I left off Shawn Marion. That ain't right. I guess Zach may have to wait.

Jay@section222 and MSA2CF did it, too.

But I did leave him off becasue his team has the worst record in the league.

Eastern Conference Starters:

PG: Jason Kidd
SG: Tracy McGrady
SF: Ron Artest
PF: Jermaine O'Neal
C: Ben Wallace

Reserves:

Guards: Baron Davis, Lebron James, Michael Redd
Forwards: Kenyon Martin, Paul Pierce, Vince Carter
Center: Jamaal Magloire

Main Snub: Allen Iverson, he hasn't played in enough games, and his team isn't doing very well.

Western Conference Starters:

PG: Steve Francis
SG: Kobe, aka therapist, Bryant
SF: Kevin Garnett
PF: Tim Duncan
C: Brad Miller

Reserves:

Guards: Sam Cassell, Steve Nash, Ray Allen(yeah he missed a ton of games, but he's an unbelievable player, and there's a lack of good 2 guards in the west)

Forwards: Andrei Kirilenko, Peja Stojakovic(he's not a SG he's 6'10), Dirk Nowitzki

Center: Yao Ming

Notable Snub: Shaq, again he hasn't played in enough games, plus Brad really deserves to make it again, I just hope he doesn't replace AK 47. I gess Peja could move to SG if needed.

Ditto. I left T-Mac and Vince off the list on purpose.
