Okay, maybe I've taken this too far, but Reggie has and always will be my sports (http://www.realgm.com/boards/viewtopic.php?t=701808#) hero. We've got to do what we can. I encourage you all to sign this, if you're fine with him possibility joining the Celtics (http://www.realgm.com/boards/viewtopic.php?t=701808#), more power to you. Once we reach 1,000 signatures I'm going to forward the link to Reggie's agent...

That's retarded.

You don't follow instructions very well. He asked you to call him "crazy"; you went beyond the call of duty.

Ok, if you want, Mr. Crazy, Reggie Petition. There, now I called you that, what next?

Okay, I'm not getting nearly the support I thought I would here, lol. Fair enough, I urge you to not to sign then. Mods can lock this up because it's not adding anything to the board.

Don't delete. I liked the post and did your petition. Maybe he'll see it. Nothing wrong with it and I'm really passionate about my position that he not play for any other team. It's been a long while since I felt passionate about any topic relating to the Pacers. Nice post.

First of all lol@online petitions.

Second of all, it's his damn life, stop pretending any of us should have any influence over what decisions he makes about his career.

Don't you guys think he's quite aware of what pacers fans would generally feel about him coming back to another team?

This whole "ordeal" is just silly.

Agreed.

That's retarded.
Thats mean and childish. There seems to be two groups on the Digest these days: The unnecessarily rude and hostile veteran poster and the troll. Why is this?

If you feel that strongly about something, there is nothing at all wrong with
trying to be proactive and getting involved by taking some sort of action.

I am though of the opinion that it is Reggie's personal business whether or
not he wants to come out of retirement with another team or not, and
don't think a petition is going to make much, if any, of a difference. It's
not like he's a politician fighting to stay in office, or anything like that.

In a way, I'd kind of like to see him come back, even if it was to the Celts.
Then maybe when we play against them, it will really light a fire under the
Pacer's butts and motivate them to bring their "A" game to keep from
getting shown up by Reggie. It would be interesting to see how the Pacers
would respond to that situation. I would hope they would feel personally
insulted, and try to thump the Celts to show Reggie that he made a
mistake.

I would have signed it, but I didn't want to put my email and/or personal info.

That's some of the stupidest crap I've ever seen. Reggie will do what he wants to do, and I'm pretty sure (and hope) that he's doing exactly what he did last season.
