LOS ANGELES (TICKER) -- Speedy guard Brevin Knight apparently is headed out west.

According to a report by the Los Angeles Times on Saturday, Knight and the Los Angeles Clippers have agreed to a two-year, $4 million contract.

Knight, 31, averaged 9.1 points, 6.6 assists and 1.5 steals in 45 games last season with the Charlotte Bobcats, who waived him after three seasons in June.

The 10-year veteran is a much-needed addition for the Clippers, who lost point guard Shaun Livingston to a possible career-ending knee injury.

Man! 2 year - $4 mil? Good deal for the Clippers! It's unfortunate Knight isn't the sort of PG OB seems to prefer.

Same as Pargo, huh. Why again did we feel the need to pay Travis $4.5 mil over 3, when the market's not reflecting that?

That is kind of stupid come to think of it. The third year is a option though, so if he only plays two years for us, does he get the whole 4.9?

My gut tells me we won't regret it, but my gut is also hungry...

Please wait 10 minutes after I post so I can correct all my own mistakes. And of course I would never doubt Travis. He might be the bust player in the modern error.
