Wouldnt he fix our Backup PG problems. Isnt he the shooter LB always wanted? I am sure we can sign him to a 6 year deal.

Are you serious? Eddie Gill is very clearly a SF, not a PG. Duh! Just ask Rick Carlisle.

I'd rank him as one of the worst PGs the Pacers have ever used. Brewer showed more than Gill IMO.

Gill's 3P% in the NBA so far: 31%
Gill's FG% in the NBA so far: 35%

Of course I suspect Justin knows these facts and is just having fun with the Pacers FA moves thus far.

He had like 2 good games his entire career, after the brawl other teams actually saw him play and realized he can't deal with pressure in the backcourt. And basically his days in the NBA were over.

Not to mention Jamison would give you that Big Hair Guy you've been lacking ever since Pollard left.

I guess I'm one of the few that actually liked Eddie?

He was a complete waste of a roster spot of course but I like the idea of the little guy still making the league. :P

I just remember leaving a Pacers game one night (don't ask me which one, I was pretty toasted) and seeing Eddie Gill working out by himself on the practice court at the Fieldhouse as I left the stadium and walked by that one window where you can see in.

Say what you will, he worked hard.

Yep.

I went to two games back to back a couple years ago. I was the first person into Conseco each night. I went directly to my seats, and who was there both nights shooting the rock? Eddie Gill.

Him and Danny seemed to be real close, by the way.
