Why doesn't this forum have a Indiana Fever forum? There the hottest thing in WNBA right now. Anyone else watch them?

Oh, yes! An 11-4 record pretty much says it all :D

If enough people asked for one, I'd gladly do it.

I follow them. I go to at least one game a season. I don't have much time in the summer to go to many games.

My sig last year was the Fever record, next opponent, and countdown to playoffs. No one seemed to notice or care.

You can make this the Official Indiana Fever thread, and I'll be it doesn't hit 2 pages before the playoffs. That's what happens when they're not on TV.

They will be on ESPN 2 on the 10th at 9:00 and on FSIN the 12th at 7:00 :woot2:

I'll try to catch a few games here or there. I'll stay updated on their record and how they're doing, but I really don't have anything worth discussing about them

Tamika Catchings is the leading MVP candidate, plus we have two starters for the All Star team, Anna Deforge and Tamike. I love fever basketball. The team is even owned by the Simon Brothers (seem people that own the Pacers.)

Half way through the season with the best record in the league (12-4) :D

Maybe giving the Fever their "own" forum might enhance attention ?

I'm all for it :D

It can't hurt. I'll put it up and let the masses decide if it will live.

I don't mind women's basketball. Some people hate it, but I like to see fundamentals. I don't follow it as much as I should, but I'll watch it if it's on. Especially the Fever.

I am slowly being converted to liking women's basketball. Before I thought it was pretty meh but I'm liking it more and more.

It's hard to follow the Fever from DC though, heck it's hard enough to follow the Pacers and the get a lot more media coverage.

I do see that they beat the hell out of the Chicago Sky today. Chicago's uniforms are almost carbon copies of those of the Denver Nuggets.

Plus the Fever have one guard that's pretty cute, Tan White. I dunno, I just like girls with dreads.

i bought my wife season tickets for the inaugural season...

I wound up going to most of the games that season, and it was a great experience. I took my niece to a game, and she got to be in one of the timeout games on the court...she won the crowd over with her first "dunk", but then couldn't come up with something new for the second one, so she lost against this cute little boy...

We got to be near the court for a lot of the pre-game stuff, and actually became pretty cool with Texlin Quinney...she wore #11, and that was my number at the time in my IndySports league. After the last game of the season, they allowed the fans to go on the court with the players...Texlin got every member of the team to sign mine and my wife's Inaugural Season Ticket holder T-shirts.

I like watching basketball, and I don't really care who's playing. It's exciting no matter what.

I listened to the second quarter on the radio. When Chicago was playing awful it reminded me of the first season when Keg and I had season tickets. God, the Fever were awful. I'd like to have seen how well they would have been if we'd bypassed the Nell Fortner years and just kept Anne Donovan.

I think the Fever do a pretty good job of promotion and you can't beat the prices.

I do look to see if they are playing so I can pick up the stream from wnba.com.

If anyone's intersted the Indiana beat Chicago by 1. They still have the best record in the league.

Catchings is having an awesome season. She better be up there in the MVP talks at the end of the year.

I had to listen to the Sky feed on WNBA.com because they didn't have the Fever feed for some reason. But it was interesting because Cathings sister was the color commentator. She's not bad at all - a few too many "ah's" but she does a nice job.

Catchings stat line in the all-star game might well be the best ever recorded not to get the MVP award. If the Fever keep it up I would say she has an excellent shot for the season award.

Good to see good things happening for a good group of players.

That's interesting because on TV they were talking up Katie Douglas to repeat as MVP.

Jackson and Douglas have the stats, no doubt, but look where their teams are. Tamika is the best player on the best team at the moment.
