Well... lets see here.

Fred Jones - Meh
Austin Croshere - Meh
James Jones - Meh
Artest - Forced the situation
Stephen Jackson - Do I need to talk about this one?
Harrington - Only came back 'cause we could cut the biggest check
Powell - Meh, throw in.
Sarunas - Bust in the NBA
Peja (OK...FA) - Thats right FA, should not have even been listed
anthony johnson - Serviceable, but no big loss

all traded in the last 2-4 years

and now possibly Oneal and Foster - Till the ink is on the papper no use in adding these players to the list.

Tinsley - Always missing games, Greater then MLE money, bad rep
And you wonder why they havn't been able to unload thim before a malcontent, 4 or 5 bench fodder guys, a over hyped euro, and a guy that demanded a trade.

Seems logical to me.

Well... wait just a minute. Except for AJ, I really wouldn't argue with the timing in which we lost any of these guys. But playing in the season following each of their departures, a few of these guys were missed quite a bit.

For me, AJ tops that list. We really could have used him last season. A healthy PG actually capable of playing defense would have been a good thing... a very good thing.

After Marquis was injured, a player like Fred Jones or James Jones would have come in handy, as long as they could hit a few outside jumpers to combine with their slashing abilities. Playing for different teams sometimes presents different opportunities... so we really don't know how that might have played out.

And Austin? We probably could have used a little help in the leadership department. By the way, depending on how many players we take back in the alleged trade with LA, I would not be surprised to see Croshere back next year playing for the Vet's minimum.
