i know he's getting up there in age. But if not give us some needed scoring he could be a great mentor for guys like shawne and danny. Might as well give him a shot considering we are about to move JO.

lmao @ Penny Hardaway. Maybe we should sign Jalen Rose too.

06-07-2007, 07:41 PM
*shrugs*...why not? what do you really have to lose?

06-07-2007, 07:53 PM
Yeah, Penny could help us...

06-07-2007, 08:12 PM
What about Lil Penny? Is he grown yet?

06-07-2007, 08:22 PM
Penny is still in the league? Rather have Rose or Pippen

Could Penny Hardaway help this team? No.

06-07-2007, 09:50 PM
How about Travis Best...or Haywoode Workman. Heck, let's dig up Vern Fleming. All those guys could help us at PG.

Did Penny ever really help any team?

Penny worked the Magic to make a Shaq...disappear! :brick:

I'll always wonder what if the Magic went with Webber.

Did Penny ever really help any team?

i thought penny looked unstoppable against us in '95... of course they had this young guy named shaq who was a big factor too

Penny worked the Magic to make a Shaq...disappear! :brick:

this was funny :-p but wasn't shaq's heart set on hollywood?

I'm saying tho heck. We do need backcourt scoring...he could be a go to guy. And he could come cheap...why not? Atleast give em a 10 day and see what hecan do.

06-08-2007, 01:01 AM
well he had two try outs last season for the sonics and the lakers and neither felt the need to see any more. so maybe we're all wondering what you see that seattle and LA didn't.

look there are younger players out there that could provide the same production and probably better production for the same price. why go with an old (broken) vet when you could keep rawle who the door hasn't been closed on already career-wise?

06-08-2007, 01:09 AM
cause rawle sucks!
no i donno...

06-08-2007, 08:08 AM
Penny was never much without Shaq. Granted injuries could have played a role in that, but we'll never really know.

He's too old now. I think that Rawle is probably a better player.

06-08-2007, 11:11 AM
How about Jerry West.

06-08-2007, 11:37 AM
I know the perfect fit:

Latrell Spreewell.

06-08-2007, 01:11 PM
Dino Radja?

06-08-2007, 01:39 PM
Elden Campbell?

06-08-2007, 02:13 PM
The only way Penny could help is in the advertising department. I'd love to see Lil Penny racing Boomer and Bowser. Good times. :2tup:

06-08-2007, 05:58 PM
Allan Houston?

06-08-2007, 06:01 PM
I think we should give Michael Jordan another chance. We need a shooting guard anyways...

06-08-2007, 06:23 PM
Penny would probably make a good Boomer

06-08-2007, 08:16 PM
Imagine Rodman being a mascot.

Tom White
06-08-2007, 09:02 PM
How about Jerry West.

Only if we can convince Oscar to be the other guard. Now THAT'S a backcourt!

06-08-2007, 09:41 PM
We need a true 2-guard. How about J.R. Rider?

06-08-2007, 10:45 PM
one guy that was a very underrated 2-guard that i think we should take a look at is oliver miller. light on his feet, that one was

How about Craig Hodges? The Pacers need some perimeter threats. :D
