Nervous about what? I love these games. I don't care either way who wins so I have no emotional attachment although I would prefer and will root for Cleveland, but I am just excited to watch what should be a great game.

I'm amped!

I'm not. I'm just hoping this isn't a repeat of Game 6 against Miami. That's my worst nightmare.

It's a weird feeling. There's a very good chance that this is the end of an era, with the improvements of Cleveland and Chicago, and Miami braced for a comeback season next year, the Pistons may never get back this far again.

I'm hoping for the best, bracing for the worst.

(P.S. According to a certain poster, I am now no longer a Piston fan. Haha.)

If Miami makes the second round next year I'll be stunned. In fact, I can see more than a few scenarios where Miami finds themselves out of the party entirely.

If Dwyane Wade is healthy, there is no chance, NONE, that Miami misses the playoffs. Especially in the East.

Barkley: "Detroit is going to get ran out of this damn building tonight."

Trader Joe

Damn Barkley is really trashing the Pistons. Saying that WHEN they lose this game they will just turn on each other and their coach just like last year. Barkley, "Thats what they do."

This could go just like the '94 Pacers-Knicks series.

The Pacers and Knicks had met the year before, with the Knicks winning.....just like these 2 teams meeting last year with the Pistons winning

Pacers were down 0-2, then won the next 2 at home.

Reggie had a legendary performance on the road in game 5, just like Lebron did.

With a trip to the finals at stake the Pacers somewhat relaxed at home, then lost a close game in New York. I could see this series playing out just like that.

If the Cavs' role players are hitting tonight, this game is over. The Pistons are already running triple teams at LeBron.

Cavs looking sloppy and leave Chauncey wide-open for three and you know he's hitting that.

Rasheed is going to get bashed now and people are going to talk about him like they did when he was in Portland. If Detroit would be winning this series it wouldn't matter though.

Anyways I just love this. I'm not a Cavs fan, I love to hate Detroit because I still can't get that image of Taysan blocking Reggie's block in the 2004 Conference Finals.

Also, I LOVE seeing Lebron dominate and helping his team win this series after all of that BS he took from the media for passing to a WIDE OPEN teammate. Keep it up Lebron!

And I love seeing a player like Daniel Gibson come out of nowhere to play big. That is just great to see.

I love the underdogs. I really wish the Cavs would go on to beat the Spurs but I can't see that.

Anyone else feeling that the NBA excitment is back? GS beating Dallas in the first round, a game 7 series or two, Phoenix and San Antonio being rivals, the Bulls back in the championship hunt, and the Cleveland Cavaliers about to upset the Detroit Pistons to make the Finals. I haven't seen this much excitment in the playoffs since I started watching the NBA since like the 2001-2002 season. This is just great stuff to see.

It was failure. K-Stat knows it. shags knows it. All Piston fans know it. They just got beat in 4 straight games by a 1-man show and a fluke game from a 2nd round rookie. This after being easily beaten by a 2 man show last year. Combine that with his horrible playoff record in Minnesota (something like 7 straight 1st round exits), and anyone with common sense should know Flip's not a playoff caliber coach.
