This is probably the best we can do, but it does not look all that good. But it will in fact be worse. It will be

Tins
Dun
Danny
JO
Foster

The current roster is rather limited. I would go with the following unless turnovers mount:

PG - Quis
SG - Williams
SF - Granger
PF - JO
C - Foster

I would sub McLeod, Dunleavy, Ike and Baston in as needed.

If we need better ball handlers but are facing a big back court, I would go with the following:

PG - Quis
SG - Dunleavy
SF - Granger
PF - JO
C - Foster

If we face a quick back court, I would go with the following:

PG - McLeod
SG - Quis
SF - Granger
PF - JO
C - Foster

So, Quis, Granger, JO and Foster should always be starting.

None of the above? Seriously our starting lineup next year better have at least one new player that isnt currently on the team or I will be expecting a season even worse than this years.

Assuming that everyone is healthy, based off of the current lineup:

PG - Tinsley
SG - Marquis
SF - Granger
PF - JONeal

Not to be Mr. Negative-One-Liner-Guy, but my favorite lineup is starting lineup is any line-up without Jamaal Tinsley in it.

For real this time, this assumes that JO is gone:

Version 1:

PG - Shooter (a la Delonte West, Acie Law IV)
SG - Daniels
SF - Granger
PF - Diogu
C - Foster (or other good shot-blocking, rebounding, defending C)

Version 2:

PG - Penetrator (a la Conley, Calderon)
SG - Dunleavy
SF - Granger
PF - Diogu
C - Foster (see above)

good luck getting both of the first two. even if you were to make the deal JO to chicago (which i assume is how you're making this lineup) conley won't fall that low without freak accident. i'd count more on law being avail. @ #9. if we were to get ben gordon, i'd consider trying out daniels at the PG because of gordon's height he'd have to guard PGs and daniel's height and natural position would balance that out.

however, i can't see the chicago deal happening. the main reason is we'd have to do it by taking noccioni (i don't think we'd take wallace). which, because we'd only be trading JO would add a long-term contract at the SF position. the only way to work with the bulls is a 3way

Quis should start at the 2. Williams and Dun are SFs, not SGs.
