When someone next brings up the "What in the NBA were you wrong about?" thread

Remind me to say:

I WAS WRONG ABOUT YAO!

Thought he'd be decent but not this good - certanly not this quickly.

I've only the boxscore to go on, but Yao took more shots than Francis and Mobley COMBINED, 23, making 15.

Nifty 10 assists for the preacher-man, Mark Jackson.

If Yao becomes the #1 option on offense, Houston becomes a team that's very hard to deal with.

Since I went out on a limb and picked him 5th in the fantasy league draft (I was torn between Yao, Jermaine, Kobe, Dirk, and Elton Brand)

I'm glad he's finally coming around, and though Jermaine would have been a better choice, I can live with it.

Go Yao (except against the Pacers)!!

:D

I've always been shocked at how infrequently the offense goes through Yao. In our game the other night I counted at least 5-6 posessions where every Houston player BUT Yao touched the ball, which is insane, and if I'M seeing that, you damn well know Van Gundy is seeing it.

Which helps to explain why Mark Jackson got brought in...

Once Franchise wakes up and realizes what he has on his team, and starts giving Yao touches on every possession, Houston will be a force to be reckoned with.

Nothing will change in Houston until they move Francis either from the team, or the PG spot.
