At the pushing (or rather sarcasm) of Magic Rat, I purchased 2 for the ECF in the cheap seats (227) for games 1 and 2. I swore I'd never sit up there again but the only seats available were upper level seats for $40 and I would rather save $96 (on 4 tix) and sit a few rows farther behind. I just have to be there. I hope everyone who can go does. I imagine a sell-out in a few hours or so. Leaving for Orlando Wednesday (day after game 2) at 6am for a long weekend so the scheduling couldn't have worked out better for another visit to Conseco.

I do, however, remember when the Pacers went to the ECF against Orlando. I lined up at LS Ayres 3 times and came away empty each time. The compute world is awesome-easier to get tix and no standing in line. Go Pacers!!!!!!!!!

Do you guys think I'll have any probs nabbing tix for Game 2 if I hit the local TM and pick them up tomorrow afternoon? I'd much rather do that than get 'em online.

Most likely you will have problems. I hope you don't. Good luck.

If the Pistons win on Thursday, I think I am going to Detroit for game 4. Considering it, it will be a Friday night.

Those are what I grabbed for Game 2. I looked at the ones at $40 and $58 but they didn't seem like significant improvements to me.

Were there ever really any $16 tix?

from what I seen last round trying to get tickets the 2 cheapest prices always sold out before the expensive seats ..just my observation of course.

I wouldn't plan on it taking any less than 5 hours. If you do go be prepared. There is absolutely nothing within walking distance of The Palace. I'd also check with MDOT to find out where construction is.

I'd love to go, but I don't think I can justify spending the money. :(

the good thing is I live about 1 hr north of Indy , so that's 1 hr less for me if I decide to go.

It's only about a 2 hour drive for me to Detroit! And yes - there is practically nothing within the Palace's vicinity...it's in the middle of nowhere  .

That's about right, considering The Palace is quite a bit north of the city.

The Palace is a beautiful place to watch a ballgame. Not as nice as Conseco, but I rank it #2 for arenas I've watched NBA games in.

I agree. it is a better place to watch a game then Gund Arena. Bradley Center or the United Center. Have not been to any other NBA arenas

The gym in Phoenix is really nice, but I've only been to a hockey game in there (the Suns were out of town when I was there - that's what I call 'bad vacation planning.' ). Its similar to Conseco in that its configured for basketball, so they have to roll back seats to convert it to a hockey rink.

Philips Arena in Atlanta isn't too bad - takes a little getting used to.

But, then again, there's the HP box which is almost in my favorite spot - corner halfway up.
