Spurs came back and I suspect Detroit will too.

Now if Det, SA and Minny all lost game 5, then I would be a little freaked out :o

2nd quarter seemed a bit strange. Net coach being way too cautious with Martin really cost them momentum and the lead there. Suprised to not see him pretty much at all that quarter.

Good God there's a lot of choking at the FT line tonight. Sickening. Maybe it wouldn't be so nauseating if I didn't have to watch us do it before I see yet another team do it. Guess that just comes with "growing up on" the Larry Bird teams, with guys like Reggie, Chris, Jalen, Travis, Rik shooting most of the FTs.

Id much rather play detroit... great players win playoff series, and kidd and martin are two of the beswt in the east.... i cant say the same for anyone on the pistons which is why they have never done that well in the playofffs. We can match their size anyways...

and i recall kidd have major scoring games against us in the playoffs 2 years ago. he's still a suspect shooter but fully capable of scoring lots of points in games. not to mention the other 5 ways in which he can kill you. billups is a ne trick pony, and hasnt dont that well against us all season long.

if people say we have trouble with the heat because they can run, then by that logic, we should have more trouble with the netss and the pistons style of play shoudl suit us just fine...

Wow. Another terrible call. I can't believe how badly the Nets are getting jobbed tonight.

I've always hated the "it's a foul on you if you're not an All-Star" mentality that comes out from the refs in these games. A foul should be a foul no matter who the players involved are.

What do you expect when the head official is Bavetta?

I dont see why everyone is thinking this series and the spurs lakers series is over.

If Detroit wins game 6, which is possible, then who would you bet your money on in game 7? I bet a lot of you would put their money on detroit. same goes for the lakers spurs seris, and same goes to the pacers if they happen to lose to miami tomorrow (which they wont)

teams come bACK FROM 3-2 all the time, and the most important part of both series is that the spurs and the pistons have game 7 at home.

BTW gotta love kstat for having confidence in his team... from calling the sweep, to tied 2-2 to losing game 5, he never believes his team is gonna lose. i know if the pacers lose tomorrow (again which they wont) a lot of people here are gonna concede the series to the heat.

Who was Okur going to guard.

Let me say this as I hear basketball experts say that the Nets should have fouled before Billups could take the game saving three point shot.

Fouling in that situation would have been foulish. The Pistons had 2.9 second to get the ball up the court and they still had to hit a disperation shot. I think there is a better chance of getting a rebound off a missed free throw.

The nets were stupid not to double team the ball, Nets had 4 guys in the paint, WHY. They did not have time to get to the paint and there was not enough time for a rebound. The mistake was terrible defense. Not fouling was the correct decision.
