to the newbies, high expectations lead to poor games, and low expectations lead to great games.

so...

Can we even compete in game 5? Why even show up?

Wade scores 40, Odom 45,

Heat 120 Pacers 71

The Pacers will come out on fire and smoke the Heat out of the building while Odom and Wade both go down injured.

:heat: 54
:pacers: 98

Oh, you mean good karma for the Pacers? :unimpressed:

The Heat's pre-game meal from Steak & Shake was so bad that it inspired them to play outside themselves and win on the road...

I'm pretty sure Shade has already started this one, although the title was "Okay, I'm just going to come out and say it...."

Miami will win this series. And in 6 games, I might add. Backdoor sweep.

I'll decide at the last minute to drive down for the game anyway...

At about mile marker 225, I'll slip on an icy bridge and smack the guardrail with the rear quarterpanel.

Springsteen's State Trooper will be playing in the CD player.

After the officer finally writes up the incident report, I'll continue further south so I can actually hear WIBC.

About the time I get to Lafayette, the radio will tune in and I'll learn the score is:

:heat: 123
:pacers: 39

With thirty seconds to play in the third quarter.

Y'all can debate which portions of this story are real and which not. :D

The Pacers will play terrible defense and allow the Heat to score 100 points

Jay,

Check your PM so you can listen to some really bad luck on your way down......

Well all I had to greet me was a Highway Patrolman's 45
He looked at the wreck and then he said "Son you're lucky to be alive"
"Well Sir, I'll think that one over if you don't mind
Luck ain't much good to you when it's the Losin' Kind"

The Pacers' flights back to Miami will be hijacked and flown into the ocean. The heat will win the series by default.

I don't mean to be violent, but this should guarentee a win.

Nice.

Too bad the "boss" again vetoed my plans to drive down. They're gonna have to win this one without me.

Jermaine will shoot 4-27 free throws and get called for 4 offensive fouls in the first half. Most of which will come when he tries to set picks to free up AJ in the backcourt, because we all know that dude can't get the ball across halfcourt. :unimpressed:

Ron will get tripped by Caron Butler coming off a baseline screen, and land on the Heat bench. Ron will then be ejected from the game and suspended for the remainder of the playoffs [which will be one game] for disorderly conduct. Reggie will have his worst game of the series, scoring negative 8 points.

Another Pacer will get hurt.

At halftime, with the Pacers trailing 63-26, the Pacemates dance squad will attempt a new routine, entitled "pillar of skimpy cut-off jerseys," in which seven Pacemates stand on one another's shoulders, all the while holding nuclear warheads in their teeth. They will all fall down, and destroy the Pacers' goal, but not the Heat's. Pacers will therefore score zero points in the second half.

Also, Rick Carlisle's bald spot will get larger.

:pacers: 26
:heat: 123 and a kidney

The Pacers will jump out to a quick lead but falter late and virtually quit while Miami shoots 51.4%.

:heat: 100

Oh, wait...
