“I’m excited to be with this team and do some great things in the Eastern Conference,” said Murphy, who played at Notre Dame. “I just can’t wait to get going.”
The Pacers, who have dropped three straight games, sent Stephen Jackson, Sarunas Jasikevicius, Josh Powell and Al Harrington to Golden State.

Murphy, Dunleavy and Diogu are expected to play against the New York Knicks on Saturday, but McLeod will spend the next couple of weeks on the on the inactive list with an abdominal injury.

“It’s going to keep him out for a while,” Pacers coach Rick Carlisle said. “I’m not sure how long.”

The good thing is that the game is on NBA TV so their first game together will be on TV...the bad thing is that I don't get that channel. :banghead:

No. They wanted to but when the Pacers tried to invite the media there were none available as they were all covering the Colts hype.

I'm joking. Each of the three local TV news stations had a little Pacers coverage tonight. If the Pacers wanted a press conference they could have had one
