wow that trade is truely woeful.

Gordon is the only decent player we get and he is a defensive liability and a streaky shooter.

Murphy and Dunleavy are both hopeless and have worse contracts.

Sweetney, Magloire and Brown are expiring contracts and I struggle to see any of them being resigned.

I'm sure if we wanted to suck really badly, we could trade JO and Al away for magic beans. Atleast they wouldn't have crappy contracts like Dunleavy and Murphy.

I like to see reactions. I personally like Gordon and am a fan of Murphy's
Dunleavy sucks but I doubt he is gonna shot at anyone and so you get what you can for Jack before he does something else stupid. Mostly I was messing around I have never liked foster and don't care for saras either. Al is in the way of Granger and I can see him causing problems in the future. Jax2 is Jax2 an idiot that does stupid crap. wife is calling got to go

I see what you're trying to do, and that's to fill holes while still remaining competitive. It's admirable, but we give up more talent than we get back, and in the process take back Dunleavy and Murphy, both of which have long, long contracts at more than they're worth right now, let alone in 3 years. That in itself kinda negates the expirings.

I'd be willing to take one or the other, but not both, unless the pot was dramatically sweetened, like 2-3 1st round picks.

I was mostly messing around. I like the Chicago part of the trade. I am not a fan of Foster and Sars so to get rid of them for for an expiring contract is great for me. As far as Jax2 goes I would rather have Dunleavy's bad contract then Jax2 running down the image of a proud team with long history of being a class act. The Harrington for Murphy part was just because Al said Golden State would have been his Ideal fit for him.

I like crazy trades, at least for discussion purposes and fun. This one is pretty outlandish, and although I think the Pacers get screwed, it was interesting.

I think this would certainly change our image from a team with potential and a troubled past to one that was a pushover to trade with.

Sidenote: Saras's picture looks like he's terrified.

If he is demanding a trade what do you do. If he is moved I believe Ben Gordon is a very good player that is going to be great in time. I would not call him a corn puff. If he is happy here that is great I would still like to see us try to trade for Maglorie. Foster just does not cut it in my eye's as our Center. I would still love to go after Gordon he is by far much better than any of our guards.

As far as I'm concerned if Chicago wants JO they have to start their offer with Kirk Hinrick and their 2007 #1. Plus of course their option of trading their #1 for the Knicks #1.

This trade plus their #1 works.

Chicago wouldn't trade Ben Gordon for Jesus. (the real one, Jerm)
