I know that the pacers have not been mentioned a lot in the places ai could go, but... the new york post had an article with the pacers as a possible destination.
Trade away: Jax, Tinsley, and Harrison
Get: Allen Iverson

Do u think he has a chance to land here? What other trades could be possible?

Jax/Tinsley/Harrington for AI/Korver.

Our lineup would be:

AI/Saras/DA/Greene
Korver/Daniels
Granger/Marshall/Williams
JO/Baston/Powell
Foster/Harrison

Now that looks pretty ok doesn't it?

That looks great, but I doubt they would give us Korver. But I would love to have him on our team.

Thanks, now I've got to clean this gooey stuff off the keyboard...

To get AI AND Korver has been a dream of mine for some time. I would cry tears of joy. Wow.

As far as AI is concerned, let's give them whatever they want, sans JO. Whatever it takes to make this work is perfectly fine with me. Keeping JO and adding AI equals champs. End of story.

Most of my trades that involve philly try to pry Iguodala from them.

Jose, I think Philly doesn't get enough in that trade. Theo's expiring is actually very good for them, but I don't think that's enough, considering Jackson has almost negative trade value, and while Tinsley is improving his stock every day he stays healthy, I don't think Tinsley + Expiring = Iverson + Hunter. Maybe if someone kicked in a 1st or something.

As for Igoudala, he's as close to untouchable as you can get on the 76ers. He's like our version of Granger, only moreso.

I think this is my first trade being posted since registering at PD, so please, no bashing ;)

I really dont know what Philly is looking for in return for Iverson, but I assumed they would at least want one or maybe 2 combo type guards.

This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

It's a pretty big trade, but it gives us the flexibility to now build on the future if in fact thats the direction we are wanting to go. It doesn't rid us of Jack or Tins (who I might be willing to keep around now), but that can be done later.

Our lineup:

Tins/DA/Greene
Quis/Gerald
Al/Granger/Rawle/Shawne
JO/Powell/Baston
Foster/Harrison/Scalabrine

I didn't include Jack because I'm hoping we can deal him with this years second rounder to get us a late pick in the first round. This trade gives us a solid group of young guys (Gerald, Granger, Shawne) that could be the core of the franchise if we choose to seperate from JO, Tins, Al, etc.

first of all, Rawle doesn't fit there any more, i think you meant to type SJax, no? secondly, i don't see the point of this trade from the pacer's point of view, how does it help us? we need shooters... to me this is just a move for the sake of making a trade - nothing more. also, i've heard ainge won't make a deal including gerald green and having telfair and iverson on the same team? im not sure how that would work out.

i think the pacers would need to get a shooter out of the deal for them to pull something. i'd think we'd need to get either korver or szczerbiak to make a deal. which i think could work...

Gerald would actually be our best shooter if we were to trade for him. Here are a couple quotes I got from Rivals:

"My strength is shooting and I can jump real high. I'm working on my handles and my dribbling so I can take it to the basket a little more." — Gulf Shores forward Gerald Green

"He has three gifts that can't be taught. He's 6-8, his athleticism is off the charts, and he is an outstanding shooter." — Rivals.com analyst Jerry Meyer

Scouting Report from Rivals:

"Green, at 6-foot-8, has good size and a nice, deep outside jumper. He is a shooting guard cut out of the same mold as a Tracy McGrady or Kobe Bryant. He needs to get bigger and stronger but he can shoot over a defense or put the ball on the floor and get to the basket. His mid-range jumper is there but he rarely needs to use it at the high school level." — 8/19/2004

Scouting Report from NBADraft.net:

Everything this kid does is silky smooth, even hard drives to the lane capped with the empahatic dunk seem easy... Has supreme athleticism, and gets many points off ally oop dunks as well as on drives to the hole... Has a very quick, effortless release on his jump shot. Combine that with great elevation and you have an almost unblockable shot... Most of the shots go in, in fact his jump shot from midrange to outside is one of his defining qualities... Loves to spot up for the open three, or stop and pop for the 15 footer... Overall just a sick scorer from outside

------
Plus he is shooting 53% from three this year. But like you said, it would be very unlikely that Boston would give him up. It all depends on how much they want AI though.

Korver is not going anywhere, and Jack would be hard to dump off on the 76ers. Reports did have Tinsley involved, but then it added that the Pacers would also need to involve Foster (which I wouldn't want to do) and either Granger or Daniels, I would prefer Daniels
