I'll be a little selfish and say that I'm sick of Jack not getting any damn shots. His stats are so far off this year it's ridiculous. I miss the days of 15 FGA.

Go Pacers, we need this one badly. Got to get back to .500 at home against a good team. Otherwise...

Little off subject but did anyone else hear that Rashard Lewis is on the trading block?

I think we'll win tonight, that road trip was ridiculous.

Jack with 5 points, 1 board, and 1 assist in the first 2 minutes of the game. Needless to say we probably won't give him the ball for the remaining 46 minutes.

Almost a shame these start at 4 for us West Coast fans. Even if I did play hooky from work, happy hour hasn't started yet.

Keep the updates coming in thread like these, as watching the online play-by-play doesn't cut it.

Tins already has 5 assists halfway through the 1st. Very nice.

Last I looked, sportsline had Harrison as our starter (instead of harrington). They may have a lush at the controls.

Edit: tins just made layup

See this really is our offenses problems, guys take the same number of shots it seems whether or not they are hot, we never feed the hot people.

What I mean is both JO and Al have more shots than Jack, even though he is clearly hot. And on nights when JO and Al are hot, they don't really seem to get fed the ball enough to take a significantly increased number of shots.

Our offense needs to adapt to how players are doing on a game by game basis.

Kind of like how the Magic should always go to DH.

Exactly. This is by far the largest negative with Al being here again. No matter what, for some reason, JO and Al always get their shots and everyone else is left to fend for themselves - even Jack, who has done a whole lot of scoring for us in the past 2 years. Tins has even had to take it upon himself, and maybe even Danny who seems to be settling for more jumpers just to try and get some points for himself.

Well tonight I would feed either him or Grant Hill, but both are doing really good by the boxscore. But the boxscore doesn't say it all. So I can't tell who is hot.

Since I can't watch the game and have little to add:

Destined4Greatness. I saw your sig, and think you should update it for this year. By my last count, we are 5-3 when JO leads us in scoring.

Edit: I don't think he should all the time, but I also don't think it indicates that they aren't playing as a team.

Stop trying to hit the shot and hit the shot!

Jack is a beastly mother****er tonight.

What a great close to the half. couldn't have scripted it better.

Thoughts at half?

Halftime, Pacers lead 52-42.

What I see through box score/ play by play eyes:

We look to be winning the rebounding war. Howard is one of the best in the league, and we've limited him thus far. (Foster has 8 in 15? sweet)

It is good to have several good scoring options that can step up on any given night. Looks like the second quarter would have been a sweet one to watch on TV.

I hope they don't let up.

Howard is the best rebounder in the league and he only has 2. Foster and JO seem to be doing well on the rebounds part.

Al is such a beast when he wants to be.

The Magic just have no life, kind of like this thread lol.

It'd be great if this was our homecourt advantage all the time. I sometimes don't fully appreciate our bench; there's more talent than we give credit.

I can't decide if this performance gives me a good feeling of things to come, or if it frustrates me on why we can't have something near this intensity every game. :chin2: :jekyllhyd

I agree about the bench comment. I think something that help out a lot is moving Granger to the bench. It seems like we have good chemistry with our starting lineup and backups. Everyone is starting to find their roles. I still wish JO would realize when he isn't hitting (this really goes for all of our players) and stop shooting or go down on the block. If I miss 2 or more times the number of shots I have taken then I can realize that I am not hitting and I will stop shooting. I will never understand players that go 4-13 or 2-9.

Stop shooting the damn ball JO. Pass it for once.

He is the most unintelligent player we have. He see's that SJ and AL are getting theirs and he wants to get his. This is really why we lose a lot of games... Players on this team can't figure out when they just aren't hitting, to stop shooting.

Good game. Well-rounded, balanced win. It helped that Orlando shot atrociously. Let's keep this up.
